Business under 100 Apartments
What business would be good under 100 apartments? On a main road with a lot of traffic. Im thinking a coffee shop or breakfast place would do good but what are some other ideas that are not food related that would cater to people in an apartment that would be enticed to visit often?

International franchisor asking for copy of passport
I'm a US franchisee for an international franchisor headquartered in Taiwan. I've been in business with them for over a year. Recently they started emailing asking me to send in a copy of my passport. I'm wary of doing this for multiple reasons, but mostly because it's coming over a year after we started working together, without much explanation. Anyone have experience with this or insight into why they would want it? Am I being overly paranoid?

Business service ideas for aged people/people with disability?
Hi all, I enjoy supporting AC/PwD and I'm good at the bureaucratic navigation. I'm currently working in disability advocacy and it's an exciting field. I've been thinking of entering the support coordination/plan management route, where I help PwD to get the best plan allocation. Best of all, it's a remote position. I'd love to hear your experiences!

Need advice - Building sold. Have not received any contact information for the new landlord, and the old landlord does not seem to be interested in giving it to me.
I run a small business in NJ. Earlier this month, the building sold and I was told to expect a letter with the contact information of the new landlord, and I would need to pay the rent by mail going forward. Previously I dropped the rent off directly with the old landlord. Now it's getting to be about the time to send the rent check, and I still have not received the letter. I've texted the previous landlord, and he was all like "Yeah, I can get you that information, no problem", but then didn't give me any information, and is not responding to follow up texts. I don't want to start a new relationship with a landlord I haven't even met yet off on the wrong foot. How do I best deal with this?

No idea how to open a martial arts gym….
Hello everybody, I started my own taekwondo school 12 months ago and all of my classes have been online. I’d love to be able to get into my own physical location soon but have no idea what the process is to lease a unit. Does anybody have any experience opening up their own place and leasing a unit? How do I shop around for a place? Can I talk to a realtor about this? Do I need a loan? I’m in Ontario, Canada btw. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Advice on advertising
I have a home improvement business, I have been doing work for a couple months now, but officially started my business a few weeks ago. I think with this industry, customers are only looking for a potential business when they are or are planning to have a home project done. I want my main advertisment to be my online presence. I have been working on a catchy, yet simple website. I'm also going to set up a Facebook page for my business that will mostly direct customers to my website. So question is, what's the best way to get my website and name out there. I've looked into paid options such as AdWords and Facebook ads, but the expense of them can add up really quick. I've also thought about post cards sent via every door direct mail, to targeted areas. Handing out flyers, setting up yard signs, wearing my shirt around home improvement stores and handing out business cards I want some opinions on what would be the best bang for my buck. Thanks!!

Bankruptcy filing under covid cares act questions
It's become a reality unfortunately, I really tried but I'm too deep in debt from covid disruption of business. My state doesn't acknowledge federal bankruptcy laws and instead has its own, can anyone explain if the bankruptcy under the cares act applies and what exactly is the difference, I don't really understand it.

Garden/Landscaper look into insurance.
I don’t know anything about business insurance. So I don’t really know where to begin. I am the solo employee and am not working with heavy equipment. The damage o could do to a property is minimal. Does anyone have suggestions on or how I should start?

In need of advice regarding incorporating a not-for-profit in BC
In need of advice regarding incorporating a not-for-profit and/or an organization with a social enterprise focus. Any input on this is greatly appreciated at this time... I am feeling so lost. Do I need a lawyer? Our organization is a collective of people who raise money for local organizations in need by teaching outdoor yoga classes. We don't have a lot of money for a lawyer, but can pull some together if needed! Becoming a co-op is also an option. Any advice is valuable at this time! We are located in BC, Canada [https://www.westcoastcommunityyoga.com](https://www.westcoastcommunityyoga.com/)
