Frustrated by the amount of people selling product to us.

I manage a small business with my mom. For some reason after buying a new machine, she has been getting tons of calls from pushy salesmen asking for lunch with her to sell more products for our store or services. I have tried my best to turn them down (because good luck getting her to do anything on time) and it becomes exhausting when I say she is unavailable. I have no idea where these people are coming from or how to make the calls stop. We have dozens of people pour in for appointments and I don’t have time to deal with them! Is anyone else having this problem? Any tips?

Online Business Shipping and returns questions

Hey I’m 15, and I am starting my own small online business. It is a cosmetics brand, and I’m just hesitant about how to ship items. I did weigh my items and everything and I rather print my own shipping labels. The tutorials I’ve watched have been slightly confusing. I use wix as my website builder and I’m planning to use shippo to help me ship out items. So it costs money to print a label? I just have no clue how to navigate through everything, I haven’t had an order yet I’m just trying to understand the shipping process. And what about the return process? Do you have any tips on returns and/or shipping?

Rate our idea - Selling business valuation reports.

My business partner and I have 10+ years in business valuation services and corporate finance. We are considering to build an online platform to offer practical business valuation reports for small/medium enterprise owners. Our reports could be used for owners to have an idea of their potential business worth, when an owner/owners are considering to sell their business or when a partner is entering the business and a valuation is required to value shares. We plan to have a platform through which business details (e.g., financials, core strategy, et cetera) will be submitted. The price should be around USD 750-1250 for a reporting covering ca. 25 pages. The valuation is based on a discounted cash flow model and multiples. Sales is through google ads.

Bizpedia posting my name and address

After registering my LLC, I noticed they posted my home-based business address. This is not acceptable. After petitioning to remove sensitive data from their profile, they did. I'm wondering if there are other sites I don't know about doing the same?

How do I realistically get money to buy a business?

I am a veteran with service-connected disability. My wife and I want to buy this business that has been established for over 20 years. After everything the business profits (a year lost to Covid not included) about 600,000 a year. The asking price is $2.5 million. How can I raise the money necessary to buy the business? We don’t have anything to put down as collateral; we haven’t even owned our home for a year yet.

Liquor Store Owners: Delivery Service Opinions

My family owns a liquor store that doesn’t currently offer delivery, but we are interested in exploring our options. In your experience, is it better to develop an in-house program and handle the entire process within your payroll, or would we be better off using a vendor like Drizly for higher visibility/more transactions but less profit? Further, If we outsourced it entirely to Drizly or another delivery service - including the driving - would it be worthwhile after paying all the fees? There isn’t currently a service that delivers to our stores core area, so I think there’s untapped potential. We want to have a strong foundation and setup a system that works long term and can grow with our business. I appreciate any insight you are able to offer!

Honey for referrals!

You know how honey automatically applies coupons to products that you're going to buy? Imagine if every time you mentioned a company that you have an account with, that automatically becomes a referral link. For example i have no idea if Fundstory has a referral program, but I mentioned them in a few posts and it would be really cool if i was rewarded for conversions from my post

Bank Novo is a complete disaster - need a business bank asap

I am a freelancer and formed a S-Corp, I am the only employee. I just need reliable and easy online banking and remote check deposit. I need to be able to send out paper checks. Branches in LA are nice but not necessary. Novo can not reliably deposit checks and support is very poor. I would prefer something with little to no fees but reasonably reputable in case I need a loan in the future. Any current recommendations?

I want to start a sticker business but im only 14 and im kinda worried that im starting too early.

Title explains it. Im pretty sure that I know what im doing but im also kinda nervous that its just a waste of time and money. Heres a few questions I have as well: 1. Where can I buy sustainable packaging that looks decent? 2. What is an ideal budget to start off with? 3. Are there any good places I can advertise apart from instagram?

I started a limited liability corporation (single member, Georgia, USA) and have started receiving notices - I can't tell if they're real or scams.

I started the LLC a few weeks ago and today I received two notices: 1) Labor Poster Compliance Notice - it's telling me that I am required to order a labor poster (for about $80) to ensure my employees (I have none) know their rights. 2) A Georgia Certificate of Existence request form - although all of the paperwork seems to be complete, it claims that I can get this documentation for $72. Are these actual requirements for a small LLC? Thanks!

Well at least the name is good

I'm looking for a landscaping company and doing an internet search. I came across a couple of names that at least got my attention. So this thread is just a list of cleverly named, attention grabbing companies you've run across. Landscaping not required, just any well named company 1. Ken Kong's Lawn Kare - I don't like this one because of the KKK angel, but Ken Kong is Kool. 2. Lawn and Order Landscaping 3.
