How managers can help grieving workers: - Be present. Show the employee they are valued and supported. - Be patient. They may have returned to work, but they could still be experiencing grief. - Be open. Help the employee find meaning in the present. https://t.co/n1q2QFyazy

Master-planned cities are nothing new, but these days we're building them faster than ever. Can the design of South Korea's Songdo, a model "smart city," offer a quick template for urban developments of the future? Starting business offering multiple services
This may be a silly question but has anyone had success starting a business offer in multiple services for example a business that may offer a window cleaning with lawn care with gutter cleaning and maybe Power Washing? The thought and the intention behind this is trying to diversify to get more work to fill the week up faster as well as make it so it’s more enjoyable (because I enjoy doing all those things) and then once things really pick up maybe look to bring helping hand or to do one aspect of the services?

How do you handle unsuccessful stock?
Hi everyone! I run an enamel ig shop, and i made a mistake of launching my shop with only 5 pin models. I ordered around 125 pieces (25 pins per model) and all of them are not performing well. I know next time if i was to order, i would get more variety and less pieces per pin. Should i let the ship drown and get new pin models, keep trying to market them and buy new stock only when these are sold, or throw in the towel and call it quits? How do you handle unsuccessful stock?

I'm considering starting a small business
Hello everyone! I am currently 18 years old and am considering starting my own business. Over the years I have worked for quite a few companies and taken on my own side projects for quite some time now. I have tons of work experience with a variety of skills and think I have what it takes. My current plan is to start a home improvement and handyman business where I will focus on replacing small fixtures and appliances, powerwashing a concrete cleaning, irrigation and landscaping, along with drywall repair. One of my best friends is interested in working for me and has been doing drywall all his life for his dad's drywall company. I think I can take it on and am on the fence if I should do it or not. Is there anything I should be concerned about that I could possibly be missing or not know? Any responses or advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

How to Compensate LLC Partners Who Work Different Amounts?
I started an LLC with two other people making a product that requires manufacturing. We are all equal owners of the LLC, but put in different amounts of time each week on it as we all have full time jobs. We live in separate states so we split up tasks, but I’m the one doing the manufacturing of the product, which means I’m typically putting in more hours per week than the other two. We’re putting together our operating agreement soon, and I want to figure out the best way to compensate everyone for being equal owners of the business but putting in different amounts of hours into the business. Any thoughts?

Is there a website that helps curate business ideas?
There are so many well known business ideas out there that is so difficult to filter which one is the best choice. And there are many more that are unknown to many people. I wonder if there is a website that helps to curate business ideas. I'm not talking about a forum or a blog. Something more dynamic, where anyone can post a business idea, label it with risk levels, industry, geography, capital. People can rate the ideas, get more information about them and share them with other peers. A tool that is easy to track and find ideas that suit the interest of a person. Anyone knows a website like that?

How to get Assembly Moving?
Hi Everyone. I have been growing my watch customization business for the last few years and things are going well. I do customization of already existing items. I have a factory in china where I get parts, and I have suppliers here in the states that supply me with the main product. I do all of the assembly myself and I am realizing that it is not sustainable if I continue to grow much past where I am now. Does anyone have any suggestions on how/where I should go to ship the parts for assembly? It can be a delicate process, but once it's ironed out should be pretty straightforward. My concern is that the goods might be damaged, because that's fairly easy to do if you don't know what you're doing. I still mess up every once in a while. Any additional thoughts or critiques are welcome. Please let me know if you need more information. This is my first post on this sub.
