My art gallery gets lots of foot traffic, looking for ways to engage and convert into buyers

People come into the gallery, look around with oohs and aaahs, and walk out. Looking for ideas in these areas: What are some ways that I can boost art sales by engaging the visitors and make them into buyers? I was thinking of an “Art Trade In” model, has anyone tried this? How can I successfully harvest contact info for future mailings? What signage should I have to inform and entice buyers? Any ideas that you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Anyone work with any good SBA lenders or have any good recommendations with SBA Loans?

I recently came into an opportunity of an abundance of staff (my biggest burden) and this gives me the opportunity to expand. The downside is that expansion requires a large amount of capital upfront (physical locations, ugh) but the ROI is high. I've talked to a few SBA lenders and they all seem very disinterested in lending. They've all talked 30-50% down payments (kind of almost defeats the purpose of borrowing if I already have literally half the cash). I can do 10, 20, 30% down payments but again, what's the point if we're really talking 30%, at that point, I might as well just float the costs and gamble. Anyone deal with any lenders who were even remotely enthusiastic or tried to help the process along as opposed to trying to wriggle out at every single chance?

Finish one small task before you leave the office, write a to-do list for the next day, tidy your desk, and start your personal time in the evening on a positive note with the right sort of friend or family engagement. https://t.co/YnRFmoBHZe

Reinvesting funds

Hello, my husband has a small business on the side and we pretty much spend all the proceeds on reinvestment or expenses…now we are trying to qualify for a new home loan…I am wondering if the lenders/underwriting look at total sales or net profit when factoring in how much money you make (we don’t have to reinvest I just do to limit tax liability).

toast vs. clover vs square? booth shop in mall setting

Hi, I am opening a Cafe booth and looking for the right POS and payment processor for my needs. We will be selling baked goods, drinks, mugs/coffee/tea to brew at home, and events (paint night, baking classes, etc.). Our setup does not have a router but we do have access to a WiFi system. Looking for something where we can manage inventory, easily ring customers up, and a bonus would be if we can do rewards programs or contact customers via text. Weekend only booth so thinking we will have revenue of $5k initially to $15k monthly once we are established. I've heard good things about Toast and saw they have an option to get all the hardware free and $0/month at a 0.5% markup for 2.99% +15c per transaction (vs 2.49% and upfront $600 and $60/month sub if I buy the hardware). It also looked like their Toast 2 Go could be powered off wifi only for our checkout person. Is this the suggested POS for a smaller store like mine?

Looking for a Personal Assistant

Looking for a proactive and trustworthy Personal Assistant to help with administrative and business tasks such as scheduling appointments, real estate research, employment applications, social media management and more. Please let me know if you know of someone that you have worked with that you can recommend. My budget is not that big (less than $10 an hour) so it may need to be an offshore resource. Thanks
