Got my first order done in a long time
I make custom clothes and for the first time in forever the person who bought it gave me 40 dollars for a shirt I charged 15 for. I feel rejuvenated and remembered that I actually really like designing clothes.

I’ve accepted that I’m going to have to constantly be hiring - now what?
I’m in the landscaping industry. We pay way above average wages, we’re eco-focused, I go out of my way to work with our workers to accommodate their needs and schedules. The reality is that people aren’t going to stay in these positions for long periods of time. It’s tough work that people generally take while they’re on the way to something else. That’s fine! I’m happy to help people on their journey and if we can keep a few good folks around that’s great too. That said - I’m absolutely clueless how to start building processes for having to constantly hire. Is it just a question of consistently paying to post jobs on different boards? I’m looking to set up a consistent process that we can repeat seasonally and as needed, and if it’s job boards that’s great, but I have to think there might be some more seasoned folks in here that have experience in high turnover industries. Anybody got any insight here?

UPS Questions for small - medium sized business.
Apologies if this is in the wrong section. Has anyone had experience with UPS (The Courier) debiting amounts from their account without authorisation. I'm getting it quite regularly at the moment. Small amounts sometimes (the debited 0.16p from me yesterday for instance. But today they debited both £118.57 & £1.32 from me today and I've not been anywhere near their website today. Has anyone had experience in this? Half of me wonders if it's an account charge but I always pay with debit card at the time of purchase. I have raised it with UPS, but they're typically horrifically slow at getting back to people.

I'm getting an amazing (plausible) idea!
I've been mulling over what business I wanted to make for a while now. I'm good at making pies, and everyone who has tried them say the pies are good. So I thought about making a business selling pies. But then I also thought of a more feasible idea. Pie ingredients aren't the cheapest, but candy ingredients are kind of cheap! I was thinking of a gum and/or candy business with more organic ingredients, and a fun, sticker/button collectible add-on with purchases. I'd like everyone's thoughts and ideas on this idea of mine. Thank you!

Partnership Question
Hi all - hoping you can clear up a question I have. My wife is an employee of a personal training business. We are planning to buy a 50% stake of the business. The business is currently structured as a partnership. It’s my understanding that an owner can’t be considered an employee thus can’t be on the payroll and should be paid through owner draws. My question is, if the ownership of the business is 50% 50% - wouldn’t draws need to be split equally? How do you compensate an owner who is performing more work to the business? I’ve read a little about Special Allocations but most examples are about situations where one owner has contributed more capital than the other. We will be sure to reach out to the businesses lawyer & accountant - I just want to get ahead of the conversation a bit to understand our options. Thanks

Is a basketball game a service or product?
I know it’s not really an idea but would a basketball game (just the game no concessions or anything) be a service or a product? One could argue it’s a service of entertainment but others could say it’s a product. Which one would it be?
