holiday bonus...how to determine amount. need input plz

Hey I have two guys that have been with me a while. one for 3 years and thew other for one. They are the backbone of the business, they both make 30 an hour. \~ 40-50K a year... I'm going to be giving them a holiday bonus this year for the first time, but don't know an amount or when to pay this. You all have any suggestions or input? I'm in the tree business in Denver and have never been paid a holiday bonus before personally so I'm in the dark here folks. Thanks y'all.

Hi, I wanted to bring some activewear drawings to life and see my idea IRL. Does anyone any recommendations for manufactures or designers who work with small businesses ? I just got quoted $15,000 to make four pieces with a manufacturer DTLA called the evans group. I thought that was outrageous for four pieces of clothing 2 sports bra and 2 leggings. I’m looking for somebody who can help me make just a couple of my drawings come to life w a reasonable price. I’m looking to make my own activewear some day and would appreciate any advice.

How long did it take you to make your first sale?

My spouse and I own a company, where we produce two different series of items. There is the Archaeology company side - Where it focuses on just Archaeological teaching tools (High Quality 3D prints of Replica skulls, Archaeology Tools and Statues), whereas I focus on the food-blog side of the company, where we produce hand-carved wooden kitchen products (Cutting Boards, Bowls, etc.). We have been at it since mid-Summer and we both are losing a bit of steam. We finally made a sale on Etsy, just for Etsy to suspend our account and we are still 2 weeks into waiting for Etsy to reply to our appeal. We moved everything to WooCommerce on the dining blog's store; and we get daily views of the product, both social redirects and organic search, but still no sales. Is this a situation of being too niche? We've sank $4k into this company this year, with no income or feedback, so we're both pretty disappointed. But, I'm not ready to cut my losses if this is pretty typical. Any feedback?

Alright so I see some other threads with awesome suggestions and I’m shit at naming things so will take all suggestions. Been practicing leathercraft as it’s a hobby that I enjoy and there isn’t much of it that goes on in my area so going to try build a brand over the next few years and need a name! Been trying to make the name personal to me but asides from putting my name in it I can’t figure anything personal out! In my head the brand will be very moody, vintage, rustic, darker leathers and a lot of character. Aimed towards the colour schemes of many IG profiles that are enthusiasts of Whiskey, Cigars and that moody lifestyle. Appreciate any help I can get from more creative species

Opening a sandwich shop in my area!!

Hey guys! Im new to this sub. Not sure if it’s the place to ask but can’t find much. Im looking to start a sandwich shop in my area locally. The idea has been brought to my attention by someone who wants to start one, but wants to be the investor. I’ve worked in a restaurant for years.. never owned my own or started one but MY QUESTION IS: does anybody have advice or can help with running numbers to add into business plan? I have rent, insurance, staffing/labor costs etc.. but I’m having a hard time evaluating the numbers. Any help is appreciated!

Small Business Expansion Advice

I am currently couch flipping making anywhere from 2k-3k a month. I want to buy another truck and lend it to a friend in a different state and have him pick up couches for me. I buy and sell all of the couches online so I can easily find couches to buy in any location. It costs me under $1000 each month to pay for the truck payment, car insurance, storage unit, gas, and couches. I feel like buying another truck and expanding to a new location is a good investment. Thoughts? Advice?
