cannabis use and yoga
I have a few questions for those more experienced in yoga: Is there any relation between cannabis and yoga? Be it for spiritual, medical, or any other reason Is it wrong to consume cannabis and practice yoga? Are there dos and donts? Is this something that's frowned upon? Or is it tolerable as long as it's beneficial? If anyone could shed some light on this matter, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance

Yoga flooring recommendations?
I’m looking to redo my small yoga room in my basement and wondering if anyone who’s done the same has any recommendations for flooring. The room is about 10 x 12. Not looking to break the bank but also don’t want to go super cheap. I’m not sure whether I want to go with a harder, LVP type marterial or something more mat-like with some cushioning. Open to any thoughts and suggestions. Thanks!

Has anyone had the experience of when practising shavasana getting an anxiety that makes you feel like you need to move. Almost like a jittery feeling that feels like a panic. I have this usually after a relaxing yoga session or even doing a meditation body scan before bed. Please help.

Moving from led to self practice
Hey Yogis of Reddit! I have practiced for a few years and just did my first mysore practice. It was not a success, I couldn’t do many poses on the sheet and I spent so long wondering what to do next. I honestly found it so disheartenin. Does anyone have any tips for converting a led practice into mysore? 🙏

Yoga, riding and mental health
I’m an equestrian, and have done yoga for a while to help me with my riding as I notice that I’m tense when I’m riding but I struggle to be aware of where and how to get rid of it. Furthermore, there are certain muscles that I seem incapable of relaxing (inner tight and shoulders for example). Yoga has helped a bit but there’s still so much I struggle with, especially in the hips. I started doing more yoga targeting the hips the last two weeks and mentally I’m a total mess at the moment. Can this somehow be related? I felt progress for a while and now I feel like I have no control over my body, which is really screwing with my mentality as well. Any tips?

What are your thoughts on people saving spots for their friends by putting down extra yoga mats?
Personally I think this is a inconsiderate thing to do especially for full classes. Should be completely first come gets their chosen spot.
