Going on Vacation. How to Pay Employees While I'm Gone?
Title says pretty much all of it. I'm a small contractor with four 1099 technicians. Next month I've got some family drama in Texas I need to take care of and it's going to take me out of region for about three weeks. I need to make sure my technicians get paid while I'm gone. Currently I have them submit their hours and I cut them a check. I trust them to submit their hours accurately, so they could email me the information, but I still need to get them paid on time. I figure this is a problem someone has already solved. Have any of you dealt w/ something like this before? Thank you for your help.

I don’t know what to think anymore. Any recommendations / support would be appreciated.
Hi everyone, Basically I’ve been working really hard these past 2 years to build my business from scratch. I’m currently building my food trailer by myself to sell crepes, waffles desserts... because we had nothing like it in my city. I’ve decided to go with a trailer because being 20 years old, i dont have the capital to start something big like a brick & mortar store but i wanted somewhere were i could do my deliveries & pickup. The problem is that today i just saw a post about my biggest competitor (who has a store that does incredibly well in a city next to mine) is opening one in my city (10 15min away from my location) Honestly im out of words. I dont know what to think anymore. I gave everything i had to this project, been working the past 6 years so i can finally start something of my own. I know that this is going to hurt my business and i don’t know what to think anymore.

A video game about starting and managing a startup.
The video game will be about you the young college drop out CEO managing a start up, hiring employees, talking to investors etc to get your start up past the funding rounds and eventually acquired or IPO. It will have a story and cut scenes like AAA video games 😂 you will get offers from companies who wants to acquire you and you can either decline or accept. There will be a competitor that you and your start up will compete with in the middle of the story. You will be able to check your cash flow, fire employees, make sure your business is performing, buy ads, raise money, etc. The video game will probably take 4-6 years to develop. I’m no gaming developer but I would love to play something like this and it will also teach you. What about you guys?

Where to learn more about commercial lending?
As my company grows and I potentially outgrow my local bank, I want to make sure I'm as educated as possible about commercial lending. For example I was told yesterday that banks don't necessarily have to apply an LLC's debt to my personal debt limit, meaning a $2M lending limit with a bank could potentially be a $4 or 6M limit depending on the companies I own and how I arrange my loans. Are there good resources to learn more about commercial debt as I continue to grow my companies?

Question regarding sickness from eating at a small restaurant?
So say theoretically I own a small little restaurant or food delivery like uber eats, and say someone got sick from eating the food. What are some possible defences that I as the owner of the restaurant can use to prevent a lawsuit against us. I know there can be liability insurance but let's ignore that for now. Thank you

Now the problem is I don't know how to keep things under control if I want to expand this business to hundreds of clients. I need to have marketing department that will approach new clients and try to sell them our service. They will try to approach clients from every possible way like, from Facebook groups, email marketing, cold calling, etc Also, I need to have an accountant to maintain books. Then there will be team of peoples who work on each bidding task which we will get from our clients. Which tools and softwares can I use to keep things under control and manageable? Is there any company structure that I can adopt? I want to keep things automated.

Help remembering helpful site posted about 1 month ago
My Google skills are failing, so I'm asking for help. A little while ago, someone posted a helpful link to a website that seemed useful for both SEO and ad words. In short, you typed in 1-2 words and a word map was generated of related search phrases. For example, if you typed in "Water" there would be an "is" branch that may have "Water is wet", "Water is cold", "Water is not dry". There would also be an "on" branch that may have "Water on my phone", "Water on oil", "Water on toast". Does anyone have a link to that site? Thanks!

Order Tracking within Invoicing? Anything out there?
I help run a small business that sells though our website, amazon, and a couple other places. These are mostly taken care of through ShipStation. My big issue is that we also sell to a few hundred stores which have to be invoiced. I have yet to find a good Invoice / Books program that can actually track and display the STATUS of the order. We currently use Zoho Invoice which allows us to receive and record the order, however we have no real way to update the status of those orders as we worth through them. You can't mark it as "Shipped" or "In production" or anything like that. I'd love to be able to update the status so that I can then sort the invoices by their status. "Books" software don't seem to do that. "Invoice" software don't seem to do this. Is there anything that exists that just let you track the actual progress of a wholesale order? Seems most SAAS is based around individual ecommerce orders. Bonus if it could then link up to Shipstation for easy label printing

Anyone here ever used Impact Radius?
We recently purchased an affiliate software program called Impact. We’ve had it a couple months and I’m having trouble generating any results and there seems to be a steep learning curve. Has anyone else used this and what’s your experience?
