There’s been a (US) Presidential Election the year of every halving.
Did Satoshi take this into consideration when designing Bitcoin? This trend will continue for some time too. Bitcoins next halving is due to happen around May of 2024 and the presidential election is that November. I’m a US citizen and I’m not trying to make this American-centric. It was just brought to my attention so I figured I’d share. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Pure coincidence or something more? As always thanks for reading and hopefully contributing to a positive conversation.

I can be such a newb sometimes
I really can be a newb sometimes. I didn't know moons were an actual thing, I thought it was a joke. I can be gullible as frig sometimes. "Wait there's a vault in the app? Where the heck is this thing?" Searches this amazing novelty in search engine(brave), oh heck there it is right there, "I have five moons, wooo, how do I have five moons? I don't know, I'm rich!....right...right..?" If anyone else is as clueless as I am, click your avatar in the phone app there's a vault button in there." Thought someone would enjoy this.

The ripple lawsuit has one final ruling, Summary judgement. The only other option is an unlikely settlement.
The lawsuit has pretty much come to an end and we are waiting to see how the judge is going to rule on summary judgement. It’s the only thing left in the lawsuit. The only other possible outcome is a settlement though that seems highly unlikely at this stage. This lawsuit took so long for 2 reasons, the sec kept requesting extensions and the Hinman emails. The SEC fought tooth and nail to keep these hidden for around a year. The sec would also request extensions on EVERY submission. This would draw out issues over months instead of weeks. It’s finally at the end. All the in court fighting is done and now it’s summary judgement time. This could come today or a couple of months from now bar an unlikely settlement. The case outcome will potentially give the sec very broad powers to go after exchanges and cryptocurrencies.

What is the Better Buy? BTC/ETH Need Not Apply.
1) $1,000 into a top 20 alt? 2) $1,000 into a top 50 alt? 3) $1,000 split-up four ways into longshot no-name alts sitting around 2500 - 5000? Or... 4) $1,000 into MOONS? :) Before I get chastised by the BTC/ETH maxis, understand my portfolio is 90% BTC/ETH. What I am looking for here is where to park an extra $1K. I am fond of MATIC and ATOM, but feel like their market caps are already somewhat "high". I'm not against it, but these don't have 100X potential. You guys have any 100X cryptos you are eyeballing. Shill away. Or maybe I should just pick up some Moons? At current price of Moons I think $1K could buy about 6,500.

Change My Mind: It Matters if People Hate Bitcoin
The meme: “Bitcoin is inevitable.” The reality: Money is a social phenomenon, and people are irrational. Something can have a super high degree of utility and be perfect for any rational person to use, yet people will still not use it if they are convinced it’s reprehensible for some reason. Basically, social taboo. If bitcoin is successfully smeared and denigrated, this actually matters. Bitcoin isn’t inevitable, nothing is inevitable. We have to continue to work on education if we want bitcoin to succeed in the way a lot of maximalists think it can. Change my mind.

Bullrun
Something I’ve been thinking about for a while now and not trying to be negative anyway! I know the next cycle for the bitcoin halving comes next year and traditionally this marks the beginning of another bullrun. But what if after the next halving nothing happens? Im sure a lot are hodling in anticipation of the bullrun beginning in 2024 at some point. So where would this leave you and what will be your next move if a bullrun doesn’t begin in 2024? Do you continue to hodl strong or do you pull the plug when you see your next exit opportunity? This is totally hypothetical btw, not saying anything will or won’t happen, but as we all know by now, the crypto space is a very unpredictable place! 🙈

What’s your story?
Hello fellow shitcoiners, For long time, many of the wise people have been telling us that everyone has a story about their journey in something. What’s interesting is that when it comes to crypto, you can never run out of ideas how one individual got into this. So my question for you today is… How did you start? What has dragged you into this? Are you happy with your experience so far? Do you have anything to share with the people here? How I started is by investing in some NFT suggested by a friend, and no it wasn’t some good quality project or anything like that. It was a classic pump and dump shit, and I managed to make a few thousand off of it. Got pretty lucky on that one. Later on I moved from NFTs and joined crypto. First investment was Ethereum and I have stick with it ever since with few other alts. Interested to see your sides of the story.
