With the busy season upon us, we are so excited that Airbnb reached out and asked us to share "Why We Host?" When I took on this renovation 4 years ago I had no clue that it would not only spark my love for rehabbing homes, it was the start of a business that would help support my future family. This is The Sage Home, our first Airbnb. Since this renovation, Mr. Yolo and I have renovated two more homes to Airbnb, and the income allowed him to leave his full-time job, so we could work together on the craftedhost. Creating these vacation rentals allows me to flex my creative muscles, and make these spaces a home-away-from-home for our guests 🤍 The freedom for us to have a flexible schedule to raise our little Girl is priceless, and we’ve really expanded our renovation skills!
