I am completely obsessed with daffodils and each season I add new varieties to my already out of control collection. Last year we had to move the bulk of my collection from the cutting garden (because it got too big 🤦🏼♀️) out to the orchard where it could continue to grow and expand. The daffodils now live at the feet of the fruit trees and my hope is that they will naturalize in the grass over time. I think the latest flowering varieties will overlap with the earliest blooming crabapples which is going to be insanely beautiful if my theory actually plays out! I get asked so often what my favorite varieties are so I finally wrote a special new little booklet called Floret’s Favorite Daffodil & Narcissus Guide. It will be available (for free) in a few short weeks and if you want to get it I’ve put a link in my profile to sign up. I’m so excited to share my favorites with you! This is Apricot Whirl. #ayearinflowers

With the limited amount of space I have, I try to only grow flowers I can use in weddings throughout the summer. However, tulips are one of the crops I grow for my soul! Ahaha they bloom after Mother’s Day here, but before wedding season starts, so I don’t really have use for them. They’re starting to peak out of the ground and I can’t wait to see them blooming. I grow them because I grew up in Brazil, where the winters weren’t cold enough to allow them a cooling period. I love them so much! Which variety is your favorite? Let me know in the comments! Hope you’re having a great Saturday! #flowers #spring #flowerfarmer #farmerflorist #tulips #spring #springflowers #wedding #nofilter #follow #beautiful
