This is a Prickly pear (Opuntia quitensis) ๐ŸŒต Like other cacti, prickly pears don't have leaves. Instead, spines grow from bumps on the stem. They produce edible red fruits, which are especially popular with fruit-eating birds and are said to taste a little like watermelon. ๐Ÿ‰ https://t.co/QFkZxYWV0A

Iโ€™ve gotten a lot of questions about the crabapples weโ€™ve planted here on the farm. So far weโ€™ve got about 150 trees and over two dozen varieties. Today in my stories Iโ€™m sharing a little tour of some of my favorites plus a list of the varieties weโ€™re growing and where I got trees from. Enjoy! This is Crabapple Evereste, hands down my very favorite of all. #ayearinflowers

Happy Friday flower friends! These look like peonies but nope, this beautiful handful is the last of the Gudoshnik Double tulips. A gorgeous double red with a few sporadic blooms in a warm honey gold. I hope you all have a great weekend.โค๏ธ๐ŸŒท #tulip #tulips #springflowers #flowers #localflowers #cutflowers #freshflowers #flowergarden #flowerfarmer #flowerfarm #flowerfarming #thefarmhouseflowerfarm
