Out of all the varieties in the dahlia breeding fields, I think this is one of my very favorites. Plants are incredibly vigorous and are smothered in long-stemmed blooms. The inner layer of petals are slightly wavy and even though they look fragile, they don’t shatter, making them ideal for cutting. She needs a name and I would love any ideas you’ve got! #floretseeds #floretdahlias #discoveringdahlias #dahlias

Can we talk about how cute these Scabiosas are? They’re from the Fama Series and a perennial in zone 4b! Every time I order Scabiosas, they’d come in really tight, cut way too soon, where they wouldn’t open to its full potential, so I decided to grow some. These plants are 2 years old and they’re so prolific! I’m using them for one of our events this weekend. We’re also going to cut them for our PROSPER workshop, where we talk all about the business of wedding flowers. (More info in link in my bio). I hope everyone has a beautiful day! (marinamirandafiuza dedicando este post a você!) Happy Friday! #flowers #flowerfarmer #farmerflorist #weddingflowers

It’s pretty poetic that I took this photo last night as we woke up this morning to the wonderful scent & sound of a light summer rain. Anybody else out there love the smell of a warm summer rain?
