If a restaurant is buying a bottle for $15 wholesale, they’ll likely sell each glass of that wine for $15 or more. Sommelier andrehmack explains why 🍷

Homemade Granola Pancakes and Sage Breakfast Sausages with Maple Syrup.
May Gray is in fine form here in Southern California. May Gray and June Gloom are the months of year where overcast skies start the day, but eventually breaks into sunny afternoons. I decided to bring the sun early today with:Granola Pancakes, Sage Breakfast Sausages & Real Vermont Maple Syrup.  Granola Pancakes sound like a fuss, but they’re totally not.  Just add a scoop or so of Granola to your next bowl of Pancake batter (even if your next batch is from a mix.)  Extra points if you Granola is homemade, but don’t lose sleep over it.This one change can add some real panache to your morning. And a day that kicks off with panache sends any Gray or Gloom packing.

Home made kniepertjes. It's traditional in the province where I live to eat them during New Years. During new years eve we eat them flat, they represent the ´rolled out´ year. During new years day we serve them rolled up with some whipped cream, to represent the new year that has to ´roll out´.
