First time meal prepping lunches without a fridge I can use during the day
I start grad school next week and they only have one fridge to store lunches in for 500+ people. It apparently fills up before 8:00 AM and I don't realistically see myself making it there in time to get a spot. In the past I just stuck mason jars with food into my bag and stuck them in the fridge when I got to work, but that system obviously won't work now. Does anyone have any recommendations for lunchboxes and thermal containers that will keep my food safe? I am particularly partial to soup for meal prep, does anyone have any good meal prep containers for soup that they would recommend?

Honest and maybe stupid question from a meal prep virgin…
Okay guys this may be a stupid question but, are you just eating the same thing every day of the week and how is this not super boring? Or are you prepping multiple things and freezing some? I love the idea of prepping to give me more time during the week. But when I look up meal prep ideas, it’s always one large batch of something and then separating it into 5 containers for the week. How do I meal prep with variety?

“I will not eat green eggs and ham”, but I will eat green beef short ribs marinated with a paste made from fresh herbs and 3 types of hot peppers, with a teriyaki mushroom skillet on the side 😆
