I welcome the report on the #COVID19 origins, which advances our understanding of this virus in important ways. The report also raises questions that will need to be addressed by further studies. https://t.co/zqu9LsvU5v

Cat’s death
Hi all, early this morning, our cat died in my arms. He’s been fighting for his life for almost 5 days, we have done everything we could to help him. Nonetheless, here I am, crying and writing these lines. I just want to say how sad I am and how frustrated and helpless I felt when holding him in my arms, seeing him gasping for air and being absolutely powerless and unable to help him. Am I even entitled to grieve? I was “just” our pet, millions of people are dying in this pandemic. I feel a bit stupid, but can’t help feeling absolutely numb, doing a bare minimum for school, as if disconnected from the world. Please let me know in the comments - any thoughts, sharing of similar experiences or just remark how stupid I am for this post. Anything. I need to feel something. Thank you.

Brain tumor stats. Confused
One thing that really helps me put things in perspective is Brain Tumor statistics. But I’m confused one chart will show like 300/100,000 (.3%) and another will say 6.1/ 100,000 (.00006%) Obviously I’d like to believe the latter. 38 year old female/ Caucasian Been thinking I have a BT on and off for 9 years (guess that’s probably my proof 🤦🏻♀️) Never been scanned, never had a reason for one and do not want one. As it’s just one thing after the other for me.

Finding the origin of a virus takes time and we owe it to the world to find the #COVID19 virus source so we can collectively take steps to reduce the risk of this happening again. No single research trip can provide all the answers.
