When does parenting become "worth it"?

Whenever you hear anybody talk about being a parent, they always say something like "Being a parent is the hardest job in the world, but it's so rewarding and totally worth it". When do the rewarding and worth it parts kick in? Because I'm 6+ years deep and daily tantrums and 6am wake ups and no free time of my own and my non-existant social life and lack of my own friends is really beating me down. I'm not seeing any of these supposed rewards I was promised.

Dear moms, You are incredible. And it’s ok to not feel strong even as others need and take strength from you. It’s okay to feel tired - a lot. Keep going the best you can and don’t lose hope. We see you and know what you’re dealing with through this pandemic. Hang in there.

Why do my children all hate sleep? Why? Don’t they know sleep is important? Sleep is where Mommy goes to get some fucking peace. This doesn’t work when I have to get up 4 fucking times a night. We have family coming in an hour to help fence a field and I need to bleach the bathroom because my 4 year old likes to express his artistic side with urine.
