On average in high-income countries 1 in 4 people has received a #COVID19 vaccine. In low-income countries it’s 1 in 500+. Scarcity of supply is driving vaccine nationalism and vaccine diplomacy. This is a time for partnership, not patronage. We must accelerate #VaccinEquity now! https://t.co/DZ9dSRo51C

#COVID19-associated hospitalization rates have fallen since the peak in early January 2021, especially for older adults. However, rates have plateaued or risen in recent weeks in all age groups. Wear a mask. Get vaccinated when you can. Learn more: https://t.co/tOM3nW3opu. https://t.co/govkDK5HCE

I did something
I have been struggling with depression for about two years now, and it’s lead to a total lack of self-care. Today I made breakfast for myself (I usually just eat ramen or something along those lines) and it tasted better than anything I’ve ever eaten.

Friendly reminder to take your meds!
And if you’re like me and on medication you can skip a day (adderall XR for me) don’t do it. I regret skipping taking it because it helps with my moods and my husband and I just got into a huge fight over a small mess I made and now I’m miserable. (Mind you I cleaned the entire house from top to bottom the last two days AND I’m still cleaning it, but because the soda stream exploded water when I tried to use it he got pissy with me and yelled at me for being messy and now I feel like nothing I do will ever be enough). End rant.

Can see heart beating
For the past few days I’ve been extremely anxious and more aware of my heartbeat. I can feel it just all the time now, but I’ve also noticed my stomach and chest moves with my heartbeat a bit! I mentioned it briefly to my cardiologist, and they said some people can see it and that apparently I’m on the thinner side so it isn’t abnormal. Still, it freaks me out being able to see my body moving with my heartbeats when I’m just laying in bed. Anyone else experience this?

will doctors say anything about SH scars?
I have to get a vaccine soon. I have pretty faded SH scars but you can still tell they’re there. will doctors point them out or say anything? I’m a minor.

Going in for an MRI next week!
I’m scheduled for a brain MRI wednesday and am hoping everything’s all clear. I’ve been dealing with headaches/head pressure/disorienting feelings/dizziness as well as an episode of pre-syncope a month ago. Of course with health anxiety, I’m convinced my results will come back abnormal, that I have some sort of fatal brain tumor or some kind of other deadly neurological disease. Could anyone who’s gotten a brain MRI give me some advice for this anxiety I have over my possible results & waiting? I’m only 23 so I really hope its nothing serious! Thank you!

Does anyone wanna talk?
I’m just feeling extremely hopeless and lost and alone in life right now. I have no one to talk to. Is there any random people here who has a few minutes to spare? I just need to feel a little less alone before I go to sleep I guess
