It's already received over 10,000 signatures less than 24 hours after Jordan Shelley - who is Director at the Focus On Animal Law group and a dog behaviourist - created it after noticing a huge rise in the number of dogs with cropped ears in his behaviour classes. Ear cropping is "a painful and completely unnecessary process where a dog's ear is cut or removed", which "can cause life-long health and behaviour problems", according to the RSPCA. It's illegal in England and Wales, but is still allowed in other parts of the world, and there's a fear that more and more dogs are being sent abroad for cropping, or being purchased and imported from overseas. 🔗 Link in bio to sign the petition to put an end to the cruel practice.
