Now, KSI has felt the full force of that risk, as the content creator announced a pretty staggering loss. The news came as the cryptocurrency market collapsed, with Bitcoin falling 12%, Forbes reports. However, no currency took a harder hit than Luna, in which KSI invested £2.8 million. In just 24 hours, the cryptocurrency dropped 97% in value. Luna had previously been listed as one of the top 10 cryptocurrencies in the market; now, lots of people seem to have lost out.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has established a new drugs commission which will look into the governing of cannabis in the UK. Khan announced the news today amid a trip to Los Angeles, where he is examining first-hand the impacts on the city after cannabis was legalised there in 2016. The group will be chaired by former Lord Chancellor and Justice Secretary, Lord Charlie Falconer QC, and will include both independent experts and leading figures from the fields of criminal justice, public health, politics, community relations and academia. Though the commission will not consider Class A drugs such as heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and LSD, it will examine the effectiveness of the UK's drug laws with a particular focus on cannabis, gathering evidence from around the world on approaches, best methods of prevention, effective criminal justice responses and the public health benefits of different approaches. This week saw a mass crash of the crypto market, and it seems LUNA took the hardest hit, dropping to less than $1 in value. The dramatic drop saw the cryptocurrency lose 97.4 percent of its value in the space of just 24 hours with its market cap going from above $40 billion (£32 billion) to just $500 million (£409 million). It is perhaps the most unprecedented loss from any leading cryptocurrency in quite a few years.
