Hidden beaches in Mexico... 😍 The Marieta Islands are a group of small uninhabited islands a few miles off the coast of Mexico. One of the popular tourist destination in the Islands is "love beach", also called the "hidden beach". It’s entirely hidden, and can only be reached by swimming through a short, narrow tunnel. While the beach itself is natural, the sinkhole is reportedly man-made. The Mexican government started using the islands as target practice prior to the First World War. These controlled bombings have formed numerous sinkholes. So, probably a natural cave roof is collapsed due to bombings. 📹postandfly #nature ⠀ 📍Islas Marietas, Mexico

Dark and stormy ⛰⁣ ⁣ #EarthCapture by maxrivephotography⁣ ⁣ Standing at 3359m, Monte Fitz Roy has been carved out by the winds, snow and ice. It's located in Patagonia, on the border between Argentina and Chile. Photographer Max Rive captured this shot last year in January during stormy weather. The fresh snow can be seen blowing off the peaks!⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ #bbcearth #montefitzroy #patagonia #argentina #chile #landscape #landscapephotography #beautifullandscape #nationalpark #outdoors #wildoutdoors #naturephotography #nature #naturelovers #earth #earthlovers

The distinct spots on the back of tiger ears are thought to have a few functions. One, to work as a pair of false eyes, deterring potential attackers from behind and two, in order to help cubs follow their mother through thick undergrowth. ⁣ #EarthCapture by Arvind Karthik https://t.co/9MCYBX40iX

Often referred to as the "American Alps," @NCascadesNPS in #Washington is filled with jagged peaks & more than 300 glaciers. The diversity of geography creates very different habitats on the west & east side of the crest. Pic courtesy of Scott Kranz https://t.co/Q3VOt4x72i
