I have never felt so betrayed.
I thought my husband and I were on the same page. 4 years married with a 3 year old. And now I find out that my husband is okay giving our child dry toast and setting him to wander around the house.

Why is rice cereal so controversial?
My doctor recommended giving my little bean rice cereal mixed with purée for breakfast starting from 7 months (he’s now 10 months). Baby seams to enjoy it, and the Geber brand that we use has many of the needed daily vitamins and nutrients. He obviously gets other food for lunch and dinner, as well as for snacks. But I keep reading on various threads that baby cereal is *outdated* and *empty calories*, yet I havent really been able to get insight as to why baby cereal is so contraversial. I’ve heard of people putting a small amount of cereal into baby’s bottle, which is a HUGE NO-NO and I would never do; but other than that I haven’t had much luck in finding out why baby cereal gets so many mixed reviews. Is anyone able to offer some insight?

Why are we given so many blankets?
Infants have to use sleep sacks or swaddles. Why do people give so many blankets that just sit in the closet?

New father
So my son was born a few days ago I'm happy and surprisingly not scared or worried . But was wondering is it normal not to feel the overwhelming joy and love everyone always talks about ? Everyone I talked to before he came always said how they will change your life nothing else will matter, you don't know what love is untill you hold them etc. But I didn't feel any of that I was happy the first time I held him even had to hold back some tears but nothing overwhelming or life changing just a sense of duty if that makes sense

Fears are catchable.Beware that you don’t pass them. You: ~hide when lightning strikes.Don’t be surprised if your child trembles. ~tell your terror of snakes.Don’t be taken back if your kid is terrified. Kids watch & may adopt our fears. #resilience #parenting

I have COVID
I’ve successfully dodged it for 2 years. I’m double vaxxed and boosted. I didn’t even catch it when my daughter had it TWICE over the last year. And now here I am laying on the couch in a mask so I don’t get her sick (she’s got no symptoms so far), feeling miserable. Fuck this.
