Do you clean your toothless baby’s mouth ? If so, how ?

I’m wondering when to start and how to clean baby’s mouth. My son is 7 mo and we’re slowly introducing solid food and it makes me wonder if I should clean his mouth after eating. I can go crazy over germs sometimes so maybe that’s one of these moments lol. I do wipe his gum/ mou to clean up if I see food in there but can’t help but think it’s not helping with bacteria. Am I crazy or are y’all doing it?

New Mom struggling with post-partum body

I recently had my firat baby with my wonderful Husband but now I am really struggling with my body image. I have returned to my pre baby weight and continue to wear the same clothes (even some pieces from my highschool days) I wore before being pregnant. I hate the way I look. I have never experienced body issues before and I don't know how to cope. It is consuming my mind and I don't know how to handle it. Any advice moms? Or those who went through the same thing how did you cope?

How do you feel about the person watching your child smoking weed?

Throw away because family knows my username. My partner and I are having a disagreement whether or not this is okay. I am looking for an outsider's perspective on the matter so we can begin to see each other's sides more. Why or why not would you? Any advice or help appreciated. Should I leave my partner with a 2 month old?

I have a ticket to Glastonbury festival in June, which is about 5 hours drive from my home. Problem is our first child is due in April. I'm more than happy to not go to the festival because I don't want to leave my partner alone with the baby. She will have support from family, but I'd still feel guilty. She says she is happy for me to go, and I believe her, but she is a massive stress head and struggles with depression, so we're both worried about how she will cope. Has anyone had experience leaving their partner with a first baby at such a young age for 5 days? Did it go smoothly? Did you regret it? Definitely not just looking for people to tell me what I want to hear. I'm not even sure what that would be...

Baby not tracking at 9 weeks

Another disappointing Dr visit… when will it end? While LO is finally gained a good amount of weight he isn’t tracking objects of faces. I keep thinking he’s looking at me but when I move he doesn’t follow. My husband says LO just looks past him or he’s locking eyes with him and then intentionally looks away. Dr says she’s not seeing much tracking either and wonders if he has impaired vision. I have no more tears to shed it’s just one hurdle after another. Anyone else experience this and what was the outcome? Dr couldn’t provide and real answers and google is zero help. I’m so stressed out why can’t I have a normal child I just want to enjoy him and not have to deal with constant problems. I’m worn thin.

Postpartum carpal tunnel

Has anybody else had carpal tunnel with a newborn? I have it so bad but I’m already back at work. I’m an X-ray tech so it’s a pretty physical job and I was just wondering if there are any braces that would work that aren’t super stiff with the metal? I know stability is the key but maybe something not super bulky? Just look for recommendations to help with the numbness cause it’s really annoying. Thanks!
