Instead of saying “don’t” or “stop,” Lewis said to understand why your child needs to color on the walls and what their behavior is that they’re trying to communicate. “Let’s observe their underlying needs and learn skills and start from there." @GMA https://t.co/tOqzvTUTcM

I have 11 days until my c-section and I just want to rest.
Someone help me not feel guilty about laying on the couch all day and letting my two kids do pretty much they want. I just want to keep my eyes closed. I feel so tired.

Hands up if you just inhaled a whole pack of cornflake clusters cause it’s been a truly, awfully shitty week and your non-napper finally napped without being held for more than five minutes?

Question re both parents working
I’m a SAHM and I have been since our first was born. My husband thinks that if we both worked we would be on the same page with parenting styles, how we spend our time when we are together as a family, and that it would be more bonding to us as a couple. I choose not to compare our roles. I don’t think the grass is greener to be able to work and disconnect from home and get that social time (I mean, with the pandemic, most people I’ve heard talking say how difficult it’s been to juggle WFH and kids). We just had another baby and he’s reevaluating how he feels for me to stay at home. I’m wondering - do households where both parents work feel more on the same page with their spouse? Do you find that you’re able to juggle the kids better in off-work hours as a result of coming into the situation “fresh” not having spent your day participating in childcare? Thanks in advance for your time.
