Vent to me please

Can someone else please empathize with me about how fucking awful the newborn phase is? Hopeless, never ending, my nipples hurt. I miss watching the bachelor and getting drunk off cheap box wine. I miss making elaborate dinners and folding laundry in one session instead of 29 little sessions. I miss showering for 20 minutes and shaving my legs every day. Couldnt find time to shower today and I had a doctor's appointment. So I baby wiped my vagina. I baby wiped my fricken vagina I need someone else to tell me it sucks for them too, because all my friends has unicorn babies and I'm stuck in colicky town dying. Someone has to be on this shipwreck with me? Also, parents of toddlers: re assure me things get better when the baby isn't a crying blob or gassiness and poop?

Why does my husband do everything so hard?

He walks hard, he gets into bed hard (the bed is consistently shifted 6”-12” off-center toward my side of the bedroom), he sits down hard (has broken a couch and several office chairs), he somehow manages to eat hard? Like he’s sitting next to me eating an açaí bowl and it’s so freaking loud. The spoon is clacking against his teeth, he’s breathing like he’s walking uphill (that may partially be his deviated septum’s fault). I swear the man is incapable of doing anything gently or quietly. So what if I’m PMS-ing, and my misophonia tends to get worse when Aunt Flo is coming? This crap irritates me the rest of the month too, I’m just usually more diplomatic and doormat-like when I’m not hormonally grumpy.

I'm going to be a surrogate- update

So I posted a couple of months ago that my brother and sister in law had asked me to be their surrogate. It has been a busy busy time since then! Lots of blood work and ultrasounds and doctors visits. I started meds mid May and then transferred two embryos on 5/24. As of today I am 6 weeks pregnant! We had our first ultrasound and could see the little bean and the heartbeat, though it is too early to hear it. I'll have another ultrasound next week, and hopefully will be able to see things a little more clearly! In a dramatic twist..... My SIL found out that she is pregnant this last week! She conceived naturally, which shouldn't have been able to happen, and is 1 week further on than I am! This has been a crazy crazy time so far, and I can't wait to see how things work out! I'm just hoping like crazy that everything goes super smoothly for both of our pregnancies! We should have pseudo twinsies in February of 2022!

Etiquette when neighbor kids want to use my children’s bikes and scooters

So the neighbor kids seem to have no bikes or scooters or just like to use ours. I buy my kids nice bikes and scooters so feel a little miffed when other kids use them because if they abuse them and break something it will be on me to fix. Do you care if the neighborhood kids use your stuff? I feel mean saying no but at the same time don’t want to spend money buying nice things and fixing the stuff for other kids to use! 🤔

Job training

Wife has to do job training a few hrs away for 2 days in a hotel and our daughter is still breastfeeding over night. The company told her it was a liability to have extra people in the room even though we offered to pay the difference. Do you guys think we should just go , expecting to get a separate room if necessary and just shoot our shot with the comped room?
