7 mths pregnant and dumped - how to cope?
My partner has told me he no longer wants to be together. There is no changing his mind. I'm pregnant with my first baby with him, we live together. I'm going to lose my home, the life I thought I had. I'm reeling. And so afraid. Afraid to give birth alone/single, afraid I won't be loved again, especially as a single mum. I wanted babies because I wanted HIS babies... I don't want this. I wish he would change his mind. I am so broken and worn down. I have thought of suicide so much but I could never do that to the baby. I just want it all to stop. I am so tired of fighting and being strong. I am not strong enough for this. Life is exhausting and I am alone.

We never used to fight and now itās constant
Baby boy is 5m old, almost 6m. My husband and I have been together for eight years, and we were never the kind of couple to get into fights. Of course we would disagree on certain things, and we would have arguments like any other couple. But now? It feels like weāre both constantly walking on eggshells, getting upset over small things, not being able to agree on stuff, constantly blaming each other for something that was or wasnāt done. I know that weāre in the thick of it, but will our relationship ever go back to normal? I miss us, I miss not getting mad for every little thing. I love my little boy and I would do anything for him, but I hope losing the love of my life and my soulmate isnāt one of those things

What can I do for family whose baby has died?
Iām a daycare teacher and a child who was in my class last year tragically drowned and passed away. He wasnāt even 2 yet. Funerals give me the creeps. I havenāt been to one since I was a child. I donāt even know the proper etiquette for them. What can I do for the family instead of going to the funeral?

Having a hard time getting my kids to eat vegetables
Hey everyone! Iāve been having a very stressful time getting my 5 year old and 3 year old to eat the recommended amount of vegetables, I have tried various methods of serving it to them and although they do end up eating them, it takes them an insane amount of time to finish and they hate it. Today I decided to try making them healthy smoothies, the older one drank it but said she wasnāt too crazy about it and the younger one just kept gagging š©. I was wondering if anyone had any way of making their kids actually ENJOY eating or drinking their vegetables. I felt a smoothie was a good idea but I guess I didnāt do that much of a great job with the recipes I saw online. The recipe consisted of bananas, blueberries, and some spinach and honey. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I personally enjoyed the smoothie but I guess it wasnāt kid friendly enough.

What did you do to get your breast fed baby to gain more weight?
So my baby was 6lb 11 oz when I left the hospital. 1 month she was 8lb 1oz and 2 month she is 8 lb 15 oz. Iām breast feeding but obviously her weight gain isnāt there. My doc said she should be in the upper 9ās. I plan to put her on more of a 2-3 hour schedule Atleast 20 min a feeding and do one feeding on a bottle of 3.5 oz.

My 3 Y/O daughter is scared of thunderstorms still
Hello! Storm season is coming up- itās not storming rn thankfully- but ever since my youngest was little, thunderstorms have terrified her! Last time we had one, she spent the entire time clinging to me and screaming for her daddy, who was at work. Heās really the only thing that can calm her down, or her older brother. I just donāt want her brother to have to take care of her/coddle her when sheās scared all the time because thatās not his job. Of all the kids, sheās the only one thatās like this. Weāve tried explaining what it is, but that doesnāt make it any better. Anyone else? Anyone have ideas to make it better? Weāve tried distraction but Everytime thereās thunder she freaks again.

Is it weird if a stranger gave my 1 year old a dollar?
Yesterday me, my son and his dad were in line at a thrift store and this older guy started talking to my child who was being held by his father and then he gave him a dollar and his dad took it. Should we have taken it? Is this a thing or was he being a creep? And I know Iām going to regret asking this and sound absolute psycho but could someone taint a dollar bill or something fucked up like that? (Like remember when everyone was paranoid about razor blades in candy? That sort of thingā¦) am I just being overly paranoid here?

Tips and tricks for getting your littles to eat real food?
FTM to an 11 month old (10 adjusted), and I cannot get this crazy baby to eat anything other than shredded cheese, bananas, and cheerios. Weāve tried bland, seasoned, hot, cold, a little bit of everything it feels like. Spaghetti, chicken, quesadillas, toasts, beef, soups, eggs, fish, fruits, veggiesā¦.Sheās a great eater when she does she just doesnāt want to. I have to leave for half a day and sheās BF but wonāt take milk from a bottle or cup or anything. I was told sheās old enough that she can just āeatā until Iām home but she doesnāt *eat* so I have no idea what Iām supposed to do!

Portable Sound Machines
Hi lovely parents, I am looking for a reliable portable sound machine for our first trip to the Zoo. I know searching Google is easy enough but I am looking for one that specifically plays "static." We use the Hatch Rest Plus at home and have the noise set to the "tv" for naps. When looking on Amazon it either doesn't specify what white noise it plays or doesn't seem to have a static option unless maybe "fan" is the same? Thanks for any recommendations you may have!
