Pediatric chiropractors
Not trying to be disrespectful to anyone but can someone please explain why in the world there are so many chiropractors who a) call themselves doctor and b) pretend to know more about pediatric medicine than pediatricians and MDs? Nothing drives me more crazy, especially as a pediatric healthcare provider who has seen babies who have STROKED bc they were adjusted by a chiropractor….

wtf is up with all the crop tops
Let me start by saying that if crop tops are your thing more power to you and by all means wear the shit out of that crop top. I just gave birth to my 2nd child 8 weeks ago and decided to go splurge on some new clothes for myself. I go to the mall and literally all I can find is crop tops and biker shorts. Every. Single. Store. Maybe I don't get out enough but is this the new normal? I prefer to not show all hundred of my stretch marks and post partum belly to the world. I don't even think I can fit my boobs in one if I tried. I already knew I needed to start working out but damn I guess it's over-sized t-shirts for me.

Anyone else’s baby swallowing pet hair?
We have a cat with thick fur that sheds all over the place all days of the year. We have a roomba. Fur catchers in the washing machine. Hair rollers. I check her hands and wipe them many times per day. I still end up pulling her from her mouth and finding hair in her poop. This worries me so much. When I asked pediatrician about dangers of swallowing too much hair she said she never heard anyone having that issue before. But I can’t be the only one?? We are a clean normal home with the exception of ONE indoor cat. Baby is 6 month and puts everything in her mouth. I’ve considered throwing out every toy that has fabric on them but that would be almost all of them... I’m worried that the hair could build up inside her causing danger. Anyone else??

How do you feed your infant while on vacation?
I cant imagine trying to wash and sterilize bottles when in a hotel bathroom. I tried to find "disposable bottles" so I could just buy quart sized jugs premixed formula, but those don't seem to exist. The only thing I've found is the similac ones, but they are only 2oz.

Is this too harsh? Honest opinions needed!
Okay so our 4.5 year has been a major terror this week and last week at daycare and at home. Tomorrow, his class is going to a splash park on a field trip. Generally, if a child gets too many check marks (disciplinary marks), they have to stay home and cannot attend the field trip. We’ve talked endlessly with him about what would happen if he can’t show decent (and totally kid appropriate, they’re not strict at all with the check mark system so that’s how I know he’s been extra defiant) behavior. So today it comes down to him not being able to go because of his behavior. This has happened before and he treats staying home as a fun time and then goes right back to his behavior. His teacher has suggested letting him attend the field trip, but having him sit on the side with a teacher and not participate in the fun water activities. My husband is all for it, but I feel like it is a little harsh? What do you guys think?

Everyone says she looks like her father... and it bothers me.
But she DOES look like me. She has his hair and skin tone. Her facial features though? Me. I'm glad she's a mix of us both, she's hands down the most beautiful baby I've ever seen. I'm not sure why it bothers me so much. But even when my husband says, "she looks just like her mom", they feel the need to say, "no, she looks like you." Maybe it's because I don't have family to say these things for me. Or because she was inside of me for 9 months, I went through an agonizing birth, just for everyone to dismiss me. It's stupid, I know.

Boys are just boys
Can anyone actually provide some legitimate data that shows boys are just “crazier” than girls? I’m sick of hearing it from family “oh he’s just a boy, being a boy” for reference sake my son is 1 1/2
