I’m sorry my little love....
It’s my little loves birthday and instead of crying happy tears, I’m just crying. It’s his birthday, but also my anniversary..I should be celebrating both but I’m only celebrating one. It’s hard to celebrate something when you know the person doesn’t love you anymore and just hates you. That’s what hurts the most...not being loved by the person you thought you’d spend the rest of you life with. I’ll just go to the bathroom, put a little makeup on and put a smile on my face for my little love, because that’s all he ever wants is his mama.

Anxiety about feeding 9 month old solids, any advice?
My wife has been introducing solids to our Little ones diet for some time. The jars mostly, cereal and oatmeal. He has had a few things like strawberry peices, avocado and yogurt. We tried eggs and he gagged even on the tiniest lil peice and threw up all over. Even tonight my wife gave him some zucchini chunks that were diced tiny and he was gagging and having a hard time not as bad as the eggs though. im so anxious about going forward with solid foods and trying new things but the Dr says we need to be getting him ready for table foods(Dr told my wife things that we eat, limited to what's safe for him). Can anyone offer some advice or experience to ease my anxiety? I know we don't want to hold him back from growing so I feel like I'm not helping my wife by getting so scared. Thank you for the help in advance

Need advice!
Hey Mamas! My BFF just told me yesterday that she has decided to have a baby. Quick backdrop- she’s 39, well established with a great career and her own home. She is single. She has decided to ask a local guy who is divorced with children to essentially be her sperm donor. She wants nothing financially from him, except a Christmas and birthday gift for the child and to spend time together here and there. Has anyone done this or had a friend who has chosen this path? I am just looking on how to best support her. I know she is signing up for a HUGE responsibility, and alone at that, so I was just curious if anyone has some tips that I could pass along or do Myself so I can be the best friend that I can for her. Not gonna lie, (also not gonna tell her) that I am legit scared for her.

Do you re-gift unwanted gifts to your child’s friends?
When my son turned three we had his neighborhood friends over. Several of the gifts he received were clearly regifted. They were things he doesn’t have any interest in, and/or the ages were for 6+. Some even had new tape on the boxes. Is this common? What % of items you give for your kids’ friends are regifted?

6 year old needs large mole removed, any advice? She’s very scared of the procedure.
My 6 year old has a large mole on her arm that’s been hurting her for months so the dermatologist wants to remove it. They plan to numb it and then cut it out and get looked at for cancer (fingers crossed it’s nothing). My daughter is extremely scared of needles and is having a panic attack over it. Has anyone dealt with this? Any advice on how to calm her down for the procedure? She gets it done in 3 weeks.

14 months no words
Hi, I’m a first time mum and tried to be relaxed but was sure we would see some words by 12 months.. still tried not to panic. Time has flown and now I’m getting seriously stressed out She can wave, clap, point and can hear these words and does the action when asked like eg “say bye” We can mimic silly sounds like blowing kisses, random babbles but she refuses to repeat or say any words as in she has never repeated them. When does it become very concerning? How can I help her? We have significantly reduced our screen time. What is the best way to encourage talking? Hopeful stories?

Research into weapons play has shown it to be a very nearly universal experience for human boys. Boys’ fascination with weapons, researchers have concluded, is very normal and natural, and likely due to a combination of biology and socialization. https://t.co/qQQTb2dcO9 https://t.co/f4gs0w4XnW
