Until what age did you use onesies for your baby?
I have been buying clothes for my baby for sizes up to 2T and am trying to figure out until what age most people use onesies vs a shirt & bottoms outfit. I'm a FTM, having a boy and getting induced next Friday (39w) and will be mostly cloth diapering. Thanks!

Some preschools focus heavily on "school readiness." While the kids might seem ready when they start school, that can backfire by 4th grade. Researchers say it's better to let little children play. @anya1anya https://t.co/fwpJDgVeGD

Out of curiosity, how much time do your kids spend outdoors?
And what are their ages? I’m reading a new book recommending kids spend 5 - 8 hours per day in nature, and while I love the idea of it I don’t see how that fits in with a regular in person school schedule (obviously homeschooling allows for more flexibility). My kids are 2 and 4 and I aim for 1.5 - 2 hours per day of outdoors free play. It would probably be more if we had the right yard set up but it’s not fenced off properly. We’re usually out of the house for a lot longer than that running errands or going to an activity, but we try to set aside that amount of time strictly to be in nature and for play. I’m just wondering how much other families spend outdoors in general? 8 hours per day seemed unrealistic to me but maybe not?

For many children their first experience of the internet is through a tablet or smartphone device. If you are considering allowing your child to use a tablet for your child there are a few important things to consider. #OnlineSafety #Parents

Why is everything on YouTube TOTAL garbage?!
And why is it all my toddler wants to watch? We all have COVID and he loves car videos. They’re 99% trash; either animated accident videos, dirty cars being washed, etc. Can’t find any quality content on there at ALL.

If my husband wakes me up one more time....
My husband's favorite thing to do lately is wake me up when I fall asleep on the couch. "What are you doing?" Bruh what does it look like? Which is fine, I figure, "ok he wants my company". BUT THEN HE GOES TO SLEEP. I'm sorry, I didn't see you at 1am, 5am, and 8am this morning. You slept until 10am. Good for you, you must be so tired. It's ok, I'll get the baby. I love him, but I'm going to throw something at him soon. Thank you for letting me rant 😅

Where to put baby to nap?
New mom here! Curious regarding safe sleep/naps. Obviously my newborn sleeps constantly. My husband will put her in a dock-a-tot or next to him propped up on a pillow when he watched tv/eats/etc. Most of the time she is asleep for this. He is watching her the whole time and she doesn’t move, but does this increase SIDS? I’m very paranoid if it - but she likes to be close to us rather than bassinet. Are there portable safe sleep options to put next to us on bed or couch? Or where do you rest your little ones to nap? Thank you!

Anybody with a constipated baby?
My 4m old is very healthy overall, but hasn't pooped in a week! We saw the doctor yesterday and have been giving her prune juice mixed with breast milk via syringe (she EBF and refuses bottles). Still no sign of poop, but very fussy because her toots are trapped (we do all the things and get those out-- baths, bicycle kicks, massages, etc). Has this happened to anybody else? How long did it take for the prune juice to work???

What sleep sacks are y’all liking?
My baby boy is about to be 5 months old. He’s showing signs of rolling so no more swaddles. He currently sleeps in (and loves) the Snoo but we need to start getting more serious about transition to crib. He’s also starting a daycare in a couple weeks that is requesting sleep sacks, so I would love to just buy 3 or 4 for both home and daycare so that it’s the same in both places. He loves feeling snug and secure. 🥰 What are your current faves?

FTM-Diaper question
I'm a first time mom so I'm sorry if this sounds dumb. My son is 17 months today born at 37 weeks gestation. Due to medical issues, he is behind reaching certain milestones. For the last few months, he has been unfastening his diaper when it is wet. He likes sitting on his potty chair but not using it. Should I start potty training soon or should I wait until he's older?
