#Empathy can be cultivated Doing so transforms lives. No matter the zip code, most effective strategies are meaningful & touch kids’ hearts. We can—& must—do a better job of helping kids become good people.Failing to build their empathy capacity fails them.

Sometimes I roll my eyes at this. BUT, it never fails me. Our children need this, as do we. https://t.co/4W56sTNPH6

I wish this amazing product would have been available when my kids were little! It would have made diaper changes so much easier. #babyproducts#diaperchange {ad} https://t.co/z95gFu7Anw https://t.co/FB2ODV6DBm

My son starts school at 8:00, what time is too late to go to school?

My son went in late today at 9:30, he rarely goes in late. His teacher just left me a lengthy voicemail saying “9:30 is very very very very late, i will be talking to my directer because thats very late”. This lady has been nothing but trouble to us, we recently had to fight for her to give my 4 year old his lunch because she didn’t want to hassle with other kids wanting his food. Of course its our first time having kids in school so is she just giving us trouble again??

While trauma-informed care can be time-consuming at a moment when many providers are stretched, it can reap long-term benefits for children and their teachers. @jackiemader @hechingerreport https://t.co/evsZ9XBPQ7

Lost control of my newborn’s head… Tell me I’m not the worst mom ever?

Hey all - I’m an anxious first time mom, and I lost control of my newborn’s head while trying to turn him over for tummy time today. His head flopped forward pretty hard, I freaked out, and scooped him up. He cried for a minute (but not wailing, seemed like a standard cry), and then settled in and went to sleep. Ugh, my heart is in my stomach. I feel like a bad mom who should have taken it slower when trying to turn him over. Tell me this sort of thing happens and babies are just fine? Thanks in advance for any encouragement you can share!

I'm going to be a dad.

First time poster here. I actually met my wife on Reddit and now we are expecting a baby boy in February!! Never have I had a feeling of so much love and joy in my entire life!! I can't wait to meet him, show him the world and watch him grow.

Post Baby Birth Control

Ladies, I'd like to hear from you...what are you doing to avoid another pregnancy during the first year post birth? CURIOUS Side note: FTM, 6 weeks post postpartum - not planning to have any more bubs. Dr recommended IUD, I have my qualms. Those of you who had/have IUDs - experiences?
