Asking for a book I am writing
I am writing a book and I want to add a part where the protagonist figures out a location buy looking at the alignment of the stars. Is it possible? In the real world can a location be figured out by stars? Also the protagonist is on horse. Please don't be rude. I searched online and did not understand the concept hence asking here.

🔴 🌊 Billions of years ago, according to geological evidence, water flowed across Mars & collected into pools, lakes, & oceans. New research shows a substantial quantity of the water — between 30 and 99% — is trapped within minerals in the planet’s crust: https://t.co/8LVttL7jqt https://t.co/T9CRsUAbIb

Perspective of space
Is our knowledge of space based on a Northern hemisphere perspective? For eg. The image of Jupiter we are so used to seeing, with the red spot in it's bottom hemisphere will it appear at the top hemisphere from, say, Australia? With that logic, the globe need not be what it is today. It can be 'upside down'. There's nothing wrong with it. It's just perspective. Where am I wrong?

Every space blob has a story 📖 This colorful blob of space stuff has a fascinating history. It's a supernova remnant, the leftover bits from after the explosive death of a new star. The new star, likely the brightest supernova in recorded human history, lit up Earth’s sky in the year 1006 AD and was widely observed by various civilizations from different places on the Earth. It resides within our Milky Way Galaxy. ✍️ Pop quiz: How many types of supernova remnant are there? 1️⃣? 2️⃣? 3️⃣? 4️⃣? Let us know down below! Water, water, everywhere… on Mars? A new study challenges the theory that water on Mars disappeared into space. @NASA-funded research and archived data indicate between 30 to 99% of the planet’s water is trapped in minerals in the Martian crust. #LPSC https://t.co/1pRW3jxsTj https://t.co/ZDJkEZQR0Z
