Where will you be during the eclipses in 2023 and 2024? This map shows the path of the Moon’s shadow as it crosses the contiguous U.S. during the eclipse on Oct. 14, 2023 and total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. Will you get a chance to see them? https://t.co/mC7CagW0AR https://t.co/wBA08oZ7k6

Trying to time a wedding, help!

Firstly, I am not an astronomer, hence why I'm here for help! I am trying to time the start of a ceremony for around/a little before "sunset," and by "sunset" I mean when the sun is an orange hue and the sky is still lit, NOT when the moment the sun disappears and the sky is dark. I'm trying to understand if my definition of "sunset" is correct. Specifically on November 2nd, 2024, in NYC, [sources say](https://www.timeanddate.com/sun/usa/new-york?month=11&year=2024) that "sunset" is at 5:50 pm, "astronomical twilight" ends at 7:23 pm, and "civil twilight" ends at 6:18 pm. I've been struggling to do research to answer my question (addressing rule 4, here), so I'm coming to the experts here: based on what I said in the previous paragraph, which one of these times is when the sky is still lit and the sun is going down but not disappeared, aka around when I want the wedding ceremony to start! Hopefully all of this makes sense, thank you so much!

M19 is a globular cluster, but has a slightly elongated shape as opposed to a spherical shape. The cluster is only 6,500 light-years away from the center of our Milky Way, so the gravity and tidal forces from the massive galactic center could be to blame for stretching M19. Image credit: NASA, ESA
