Glo price increase?
I signed up for Glo just a little over 1 week ago, so I just finished my trial. I'm new to yoga. I just got an email from Glo stating that the price is going to increase in April, but I can change to an annual membership at a discounted rate with this offer expiring on March 27. I'm wondering if this is legitimate or if they send this sort of thing to all new subscribers as a scammy way to get them to pay for an annual membership? Thanks.

Hello all. Today I attended yoga class. After seated twist pose, I couldn’t lift my arms due to pain in my chest and armpit. I guess I did something wrong while twisting. I couldn’t ask the teacher since she was in a hurry. So did it happen to you before and do you know the reason?
Now my armpit still hurts when I move my left arm. Thanks.

Yin for trauma release
I was talking to my yoga instructor today about different yoga styles and she told me that Yin yoga is used for mental and physical release. I asked her if this can help release trauma and obsessive thoughts about the past and she said yes. I’m wondering if anyone else that has PTSD has had Yin yoga help them let go of some of their traumas?

Music for yoga - Ambient chillstep
Not sure how many people like having music on while they do yoga but this playlist really helps me get lost in the movements. [Beautiful Ambient Chillstep Music](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0UvhJlc9YDtMsTIfNPftm2?si=d9a987e9981a447a)

“Try it. Your first try may look bad. Your first YEAR of tries may look bad.”
In class today the teacher gave us some inversion play time. I am not close to inversion yet. I have so little upper body strength and I’m overweight. The thought of me doing an inversion is ridiculous. But today the teacher said this: “Try it. Your first try may look bad. Your first year of tries may look bad.” And that made me relax a lot and actually try harder than I ever had. I really needed to hear that. I thought maybe some others needed to hear it too!

My teacher in vinyasa today shared a great metaphor today in class. He said coming into class, your mind is like an internet browser.
You have 17 tabs of stuff open, 3 of them are frozen, and you don’t know where the music is coming from. He then said we’re going to close all the tabs except three: one for breath, one for being in touch with your physical body, and one for being here in the present. I loved it and it summarized my brain in a nutshell.

Migraines and yoga
I know that people say yoga will help with migraines but I have chronic almost daily migraines and yoga really doesn’t help and sometimes my migraines even get int the way of me doing yoga daily. Even light practice are hard on my head. Any advice? Should I just not do yoga on the days I have migraines?

Yoga causing past feelings to surface?
Hi. I'm new to this sub and yoga. I've started my practice on my own from YouTube and other sources on the internet. For two nights in a row now, I've been dreaming about some hard feelings that haunted me for years. Those thoughts haven't crossed my mind for months until yesterday. I've tried hard to think and search for an external trigger that might have flared up and failed every time. It was back today too, causing me jump out of bed at 3.30 AM with a strong, strange feeling in my stomach. It's so strong that I woke on the verge of tears and don't even want to get to my practice. I've read that yoga can do this. Has anybody else experienced this too? Do did you cope with your practice? Thanks. Namaste. Edit: Thank you everyone for all the kind words and support. It's really overwhelming. I'm so glad I found this community. You guys are the best. Thanks again.
