On April 12th 1961, Yuri Gagarin became the first person in space. The time-honored Rocket Lab tradition of dressing like 1960s rocket engineers to mark the anniversary continues strong this year. https://t.co/GqY4ej26ES

As a celebration of the 60 years of Gagarin's flight I made a 3D printed version of the commemorative patch released by Roscosmos. I am very satisfied with the result and I hope you will like it. Also, if you have a 3D printed and want to try, I made the files available for free

My Grandfather worked for NASA from 1959 to 1964.
He passed away in 1989. I would like to know if there is anyway I can find what he did while working for them? He was based in Cape Canaveral Florida. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.

The First Space Shuttle: 40 Years Since STS-1

If the Space Shuttle was never conceived, developed, and realised, how would have NASA’s goals and achievements over the last 50 years differed?
Would they have looked more beyond LEO? How would the ISS differ if exist at all? What would the alternative next generation launch system have been like? It’s a huge ‘what if’, and leaves a lot of room for speculation. I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts, ideas, and perhaps any concrete or hopeful plans that were instead shelved as a result of the money committed to and limitations of the Shuttle and STS programme.

How common is EMI issues in NASA?
EMI or Electromagnetic Interference So I am doing research regarding how common EMI issues are. Reason is I am a fan of VirginGalactic and recently their test flights have failed due to a EMI issue. However it got me thinking, how common is EMI issues with NASA spaceships? If EMI is such a issue is it even worth flying passengers to space given the risk? Is EMI a general problem or somehow specific to how Virgin Galactic build the spaceship?
