“This is going to be an all or nothing event.” On May 30-31, stargazers might catch a glimpse of the tau Herculid meteor shower: https://t.co/zJbXVslkin This potential shower’s “parent” comet is known as SW3, and Hubble even captured an image of it back in 2006. https://t.co/cpuEhZ1ZVK

I have a question on Blackholes. (Probably missing something obvious)
I've read that for a person falling inside a blackhole, the time dilation would be so severe that the entire universe would die infront of their eyes before the reach the singularity. For outsiders though, they will just seem to be frozen in time. If this is the case how can Blackholes ever devour anything before the end of time and universe? PS: This is just showerthought question, the statement I mentioned above might not be true as I read that more than 2 years ago. If my question is wrong, please correct me. Thank You!

Launched #OTD in 1971, the Mariner 9 spacecraft was the first spacecraft to orbit another planet. Taking more than 7,000 pictures, Mariner 9 imaged over 80% of Mars' surface in its first year, an important step forward in our understanding of the Red Planet. https://t.co/eAntyDRjsV
