Trip to Michigan

My wife and I are taking a trip to northern Michigan later this summer. I plan to bring my telescope and we’re going to go to Sleeping Bear Dunes Park because it’s supposed to be great for stargazing. I know the basics, but anything I should be sure to keep in mind to maximize our experience under the stars?

I think Makemake's moon should be named Kenatea, after a goddess in Rapa Nui mythology.

I was considering having it be called Haua as he was a companion of Makemake in Rapa Nui mythology, but decided no as Haua sounded too much like the name of the dwarf planet, Huamea.
