Does your name start with L? Congratulations – your initial is now officially the first to be laser-engraved on a rock on Mars! To what do you owe this honor? 😉 One of my scientists explains: https://t.co/Dzg0HCzofz https://t.co/GB6fw8T6Zn

Falcon 9 B1071-4 lands on SpaceX drone ship "Of Course I Still Love You". And another bullseye! SpaceX's 32nd Falcon 9 launch of 2022. Already beats SpaceX's previous one year record of 31 launches (2021) - and we're only in July! https://t.co/OnzwK0D446 https://t.co/TCWFfMKL2R

Death by typo #60YearsAgo today, NASA's 1st mission to Venus, Mariner 1, was launched. Sadly, a coding error affected the rocket's trajectory and the Atlas booster and its payload were destroyed 5 minutes after launch. The guidance code was missing a single superscript bar. https://t.co/ptmvlb19qW

This may look like just a piece of wood but it's so much more than that. This piece of the Wright Flyer went from Kitty Hawk to the Sea of Tranquility. Neil Armstrong took it with him on #Apollo11, and it was in the LM when it landed on the Moon: https://t.co/IKnkStioX2 https://t.co/oXCr4gyiNb

How empty is space?

Is there anywhere in space where you could draw a straight line from one edge of the universe to the other end without hitting any matter?

The research for @GenesinSpace 9 is underway aboard @Space_Station! @Astro_FarmerBob started work on a biosensor study that that may lead to detectors for water contamination. https://t.co/ckaJBJVRU7
