[COMP] A JUMP-THRU FOR THE REST OF US! Happy Friday, Yogis 🕉. We’d all love to float through straight-legged to a seat like a bonafide Ashtangi, but it’s a pretty tall order! Here are a few tips to make it onto your buns from Down Dog (even if you can’t defy gravity)😁.

If you like to have (different) music on the background while training , here’s a good retro synth playlist

Some clicks while doing dynamic yoga

Hello, When I do yoga (most of the time dynamic which feels the best for me), I always have those click sounds (many of them are really tiny), not just the air between the bones. Could it be something with trauma stored in the body?

Do i need to stretch after yoga?

Hi! I'm new to yoga and i was wondering where is the place for stretching in it, from what i've seen it looks like yoga includes all in a session: strenght, balance, meditation and stretch. However i find myself with some muscle soreness, do you practice any stretching after your yoga sessions?

how to stretch back that feels stuck?

i’m really flexible but my back hurts sometimes, and sometimes (usually right after i wake up) my back feels stuck, and it’s painful to stretch, and it’ll just barely move at all. i like to seated forward folds, and it’s usually really easy to put my elbows and head on the floor, but it’s painful sometimes when my back hurts, especially my lower back/tailbone. what can i do to stretch my lower back when it hurts and get back to my regular flexibility?

I ingested tiny amounts of psilocybin almost daily for four months and finally started to feel grounded. https://t.co/RBDqWLyLZ2

When I lie on my back, is my lower ribcage supposed to touch the ground?

If I lie on my back with my knees bent up, should the backs of the last ribs (the 2 ribs closest to the pelvis) make contact with the surface I'm lying on? I have poor posture and the bottom of my ribcage doesn't touch the ground.

Pranayama

Greetings all ! I've been practicing Vinyasa Yoga for 5 months and I'm living the best moment of my life thanks to this blessing. I would like to know more on the different pranayama breathing techniques and their purpose (in the spiritual/energy sense) I do vinyasa yoga 5 days a week and Yin/restorative yoga 2 days a week. I tend to meditate 25 min after my vinyasa practice early morning and 35 min in the evening, mainly mantra meditation or mindfulness, sometimes some 1h tummo breathing on the weekend, and some guided meditations here and there.... I want to know more and introduce pranayama to my daily routine, i'm familiar with kapalbhati, samma vrrti, visamma vrrti, anuloma, nadi sodhana but I don't know the purpose of each particular pranayama... Also I heard that pranayama is practiced during hatha yoga, is is true? I will be grateful if you propose some interesting readings on pranayama as well. Thank you, much love ❤️🙏

Do you believe in universal energy? Is everything under your control?

Time and again, we want to believe that things are always under our control but only to realize that there are things that are beyond our control. I have experienced it and how hard I try, somethings I am not able to control them at all. If you believe in this or have experience it before, let me know how do you react? How do you think, what do you do to take the control back or you leave it to destiny?
