Need advice ! Thanks

Hello everyone, I would need your help to buy a focal reducer as a christmas gift for my dad. However I'm not at all knowledgeable in astrophoto/astronomy, everything is so confusing to me but from what I understood it could be a great accessory. Sooo my dad has a Long Perng 90 mm f/5.5 SD Apo with Doublet Objective and 2" RAP Focuser ([this](https://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/language/en/info/p11436_Long-Perng-90-mm-f-5-5-Apo-with-Doublet-Objective-and-2--RAP-Focuser.html)) and a DSLR camera. I was wondering if this focal reducer would work ([this](https://www.telescope.com/Orion-08x-Focal-Reducer-for-Refractor-Telescopes/p/100310.uts)) Or any other one? Is it worthy, is it going to make a difference in terms of quality? My dad is still a beginner and it's just a hobby so the expectations are not too high. Thank you very much for your time.

đŸ¤” How will our #DARTMission change the motion of an asteroid? Spoiler alert: it's kind of like a pillow fight in microgravity. @Astro_Kimbrough & @Thom_Astro demonstrate: https://t.co/Mbnstv06Zh https://t.co/4B2c1mJiMb

50 years ago today, Mariner 9 became the first spacecraft to orbit Mars. It found the Red Planet shrouded in a global dust storm that obstructed the view of all but the tallest surface features. https://t.co/g4W6WJcunH

Congratulations to Astronaut Hall of Fame inductees @Astro_Pam, @StationCDRKelly and @CommanderMLA! Your success helped @Space_Station define long-duration lab operations and set the path for human deep space exploration. https://t.co/hRs9GXcGk8

Today in 1942, a Vought Kingfisher crewed by Lt. Willam F. Eadie and L.H. Boutte rescued World War I fighter ace Eddie Rickenbacker and others after three weeks lost at sea in the Pacific Ocean. Learn more about the Kingfisher: https://t.co/dcOTv4qO3X https://t.co/HEMGgvnJea
