Shaken not stirred. The "Foam Coarsening" experiment studies foam on the @Space_Station for better application on Earth, like food production. By shaking the pistons inside the cell, foam is generated. As there is no drainage in weightlessness, foams are more stable in space 💧 https://t.co/1plmN74JhO

Santa’s most famous reindeer got his start in 1939, when a writer for the Montgomery Ward department store used Rudolph in a promotion to boost profits in the holiday season. One of the original 1939 booklets is in our @amhistorymuseum's collection. https://t.co/RNxI8RFRhy

Tank time! In the 1970s, Dr. Mary Johnston, Carolyn Griner, and Dr. Ann Whitaker trained in @NASA_Marshall's Neutral Buoyancy Simulator (NBS). The NBS was an underwater training facility which simulated the weightlessness astronauts experience in space. https://t.co/etDyrdMETG
