Cushioned flooring suggestions?
I am building a dedicated yoga room and planning on laying a layer of horse stall-like flooring underneath a cushioned layer like Zebra mats. But I wanted to see if there were more options for that cushioned layer out there. Ive had the soft puzzle matting before and didnt like it. Im trying to emulate the feeling of carpet without actually using carpet.

Practicing yoga with chronic fatigue or other chronic illness
I've been dealing with some post Covid symptoms, mainly chronic fatigue and headaches. My practice has been supportive, but it's been difficult to stay consistent. These are the parts of my practice that have been helpful: * Reading the yoga sutras and other yoga philosophy books * Short pranayama practices (deep breathing, nadi shodana) * Restorative to moderate practices that are slow paced * Yin practices * Yoga nidra meditation either during the day or to fall asleep I would love to get some input from other yogis either on techniques that might be helpful, as well as insights, perspectives and experiences that you have.

First yoga class tomorrow.
Pretty excited and just a little nervous. I've never gone to a yoga class before. It's yoga nidra, too. Equinox rebirth is the title of the class, which I've been very focused on personally... but I mean, is that just adult naptime? I'm not opposed lol I just don't really get what that means besides 'sleep yoga'.

Can’t find a video
Hey guys! So I was one day scrolling through an app (I literally don’t remember and I swear it was fb but I scrolled through all my likes and couldn’t find it) and there was this video I wanted to try with my boyfriend. It was a like tension release video where the woman had her knees up and the guy added pressure to her inner thigh. I wanted to look at the video again to make sure we did the right thing. It’s said to release some like emotional tension built up and it could possibly make you like I think laugh then cry. Not bad crying for those wondering just to randomly make you cry. If any of y’all could find it or have another video relating to it please help me find it!

New research suggests that mindfulness may make you less likely to focus on your financial future. But some experts believe that assertion is flawed. https://t.co/tZSJvDk7SL

Continuing heated yoga 6 weeks pregnant
I just found out Im pregnant but have been going to a heated yoga studio for the past 2 months. I asked the instructor today and she said the temp is between 90-95 F in the room depending on how many people are present Is it okay to continue with practicing? I will need reaching out to my doctor but my first appointment isn’t for another week and a half and I want to prepare and find a diff workout form if I need to

Best pre workout yoga flow?
Hi, I'm mainly a weight lifter, looking for a good routine to do before my workouts at the gym. I'm self training for rock climbing and workout five days a week, got any good YouTube videos you like to use to warm up? I'm seeking to focus on mainly flexibility and a pre workout, not something that will impact my weights.

Rocket Yoga
Hi! I am considering going to a Rocket Yoga training. Does anyone have good resources or videos so I can understand more about what it is? I heard from people it was a lot of handstands, but I don't see any in the series

In Restorative, we “restore” the body to its parasympathetic nervous system function, which helps the body rest, heal & restore balance. In Yin, we practice supported long holds in order to access and hydrate the fascial tissue. https://t.co/zsSLWcJFAc https://t.co/fpE8v2BGGe
