[COMP] How is my wheel? How do I make it better?
Like title says. I think the problem is my arms are too far out? But perhaps it’s a shoulder rotation issue?

Want to do hot yoga
I've lost 112 lbs in the past three years. I have a little more to lose but have never been into fitness. I'm pretty saggy and on a major plateau. I'm obsessed with trying hot yoga but many have told me not to that I won't be able to do it. I've started working an awesome new job where I have to take 16 flights of stairs a day and I feel my muscles and love it. I just want to be healthy no skinny. Well skinny would be nice lol. I'm 49. Is it bad to go full boar into hot yoga in my situation? Should I do non hot yoga too? I'd have to visit two different studios. Tia

First Experience with Sound Bath
I had my first experience with a sound bath today.I did it with my classmates during school. It was...a little weird at first but not too bad overall. However, I'm not sure if I'm comfortable doing it again. Is it okay to be uncomfortable with doing a sound bath?

Bodybuilding and Yoga
Hi guys, I wondering if anyone has any advice on how to balance bodybuilding and yoga. I go to the gym and do weightlifting about 5 days a week but want to build to a yoga habit, especially because my upper body is quite tight. Been doing about 5 minutes in the morning, just some sun salutations, but feel like that's probably not enough to see any long-term gains . Does anyone have any advice? Should I do about an hour session on my day off or something? Or is there another way I could incorporate it bearing in mind I don't want to over work myself.

Uncomfortable at yoga lately
I would really appreciate some voices of reason here. Lately, my ex’s daughter and other of his relatives and friends have joined in and I’m now uncomfortable there. It used to be my oasis but now I find myself looking up other studios and thinking of transitioning out of my studio. I love this studio and have a membership there but I also love my space . Thoughts?

Group yoga audition advice (pls help)
I have a group yoga audition coming up and I am quite nervous and don't know what to expect and would like some help from anyone who has done something similar. I have been told I have 15 mins and do not know what to prepare. Please could you share experiences, whether you prepared a 15 min flow with short warm up, middle flow and end. Or just a 15 minute standard class segment. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

What’s the biggest change you’ve noticed in yourself since beginning a yoga practice?
I did a session today for the first time in a long time, and was shocked by how much better I felt! Working on not being disappointed that I hadn’t been keeping it up lol.

yoga as a fat person
i hate to even post this but i’ve been practicing on and off for years, but never considered myself anything besides a beginner because of my inconsistency. i’ve always been larger, but i’ve gained weight and am the heaviest i’ve ever been- technically obese. i would love to get back into yoga for my mental and physical health. i just completed one of Adriene’s 30 minute videos. i’m proud of myself for starting and finishing but i have dilemmas- * both of my hands can’t be on the ground when lunging which makes transitions as well as general poses and stretches difficult * my hands slip on my mat in downward dog (yes i tend to have sweaty hands, how do i fix this?) * my wrists hurt!!! * knees don’t really go to chest i’m just wondering if it’s even possible to practice yoga as a fat person? any tips for any of these things are highly appreciated. i’m feeling very discouraged
