If Halfway Lift is my limit for Forward Fold, what do I do during Forward Fold?
I guess I should have written- what do I do for Halfway Lift? I'm a couple months into yoga. With a straight back and bended knees I can really only achieve what looks like a halfway lift due to my inflexibility. A lot of guided yoga sessions I watch transition/flow between the two; Forward Fold to Halfway Lift back to Forward Fold, etc. What should I do during these flows? Just stay in Halfway Lift? I could drop my head in Forward Fold but that starts to round my spine and/or just feels awkward when I'm bent over only halfway.

Ok so, I been doing it for like 2 years, I alternate between intermediate 1 and beginner 2. But i wanna know is there any diference between vinyasa flow and cardioflow ? I highly recommend the suscription, the meditation app is great. Every single yoga practice I finish with 18 mins of meditation. Peace!

Mindfulness and Strength Training with Yoga at the Baseline of all Cueing, Is this What I Have Been Missing?! I THINK SO!
I recently tried the Mindful Movement Method online, her cueing was on point and even too much at times but I did find that to be very helpful. It is a platform that is all about creating a stronger mind, body connection and to put mindfulness in a strength training category, along with her other yoga and pilates classes. It was interesting, I took her strength class and at the beginning we did a mindfulness practice and at the end we did a corpse pose, similar to a traditional yoga class. Sarah preached all throughout class that by coming to a workout in the lenses of mindfulness that we are able to be more consistent and loving to ourselves. I looked her up on YouTube and that's where I found her, she has an instagram and tiktok as well. You can tell she is a smaller creator and just getting started...but her passion and knowledge is definitely there. I highly recommend!

BOOBS trying to kill me
Ok so how do my fellow boob-havers handle positions that are face down lying on the floor?? A) I can't breathe and B) you know... Ow. Is there some magical thing I can do with my arms so I don't suffocate in my own cleavage?? Same for laying on my back hugging my knees to my chest. Like come on now I like my curves but I don't need to be THAT close to them, you know? Commiseration please 😂

Health insurance as a self employed yoga teacher in US
Hi all, I am looking into teaching yoga full time but I have an autoimmune condition so I’m concerned about not having health insurance so I’ve been researching on buying health insurance for myself. I really want to get back into yoga but I am nervous. My old studio was super cult like and I got sucked in deep. I am a 200 HR RYT. I know that it’s not yoga’s fault for what happened at my old studio. I am just terrified of being hurt again. Any advice to help me get back on my mat?
