Having my front let at 90 degrees feels like I'm wrecking my hips 🥲 not sure what I should prioritize
Hey all, while I also do some yoga here and there - I've been doing the pigeon pose very frequently recently as we've started incorporating it into our stretching routine during the Taekwondo classes I attend. The coach always tells us to have our front legs at or very close to 90 degrees but I feel like it's impossible for me to do. Can't keep my hips square and even if they're not aligned and I don't go that deep into the pose it's still really painful in my hips. If I were to do the pose more comfortably my front leg would probably be almost parallel to my front thigh. I've always struggled with really tight hips so should I just stop doing the pigeon pose completely if I can't get my front leg out that much? Is there anything I can do to improve?

I’m back.
I used to be a yoga teacher before COVID closed all the gyms. Haven’t stepped on my mat for a few months but just completed a class at home. Feeling very good. ❤️

Handstand troubleshooting
Hello, I am really struggling to get a perfect handstand. I have tried a lot of things, but nothing is working. My knees constantly bend, and I cannot get straight in my handstand, nor can I hold it. I have decent strength in my arms and core, so I don't know why I can't do a proper handstand with good form, and I try desperately hard, but no matter what I do, it isn't straight. If anyone here has any advice, I will happily take it, as I'm getting desperate. Using a wall isn't an option for me, does anyone have advice on how I could improve my handstand?
