This journey officially begins!

After years of shrugging off the practice I’ve finally found an at home routine I’m comfortable with and actually doing daily (lol it’s been a week so far). The pandemic hasn’t been great on my physique - standing at work all day, lying down on the couch at night. I admit letting myself go a little is motivation enough to do some yoga as soon as I get up, and shortly before bed. I’m not embarrassed to say that my flexibility is so bad that I can barely wrap my arms around my knees and don’t get me started on laughing baby pose. But in less than a week I’ve already noticed my posture improving, less pain in my neck and shoulders, and even the slight toning of my upper arms. I’m sure in a few weeks I’ll be so proud of the progress I’ve made! I look forward to deep diving this subreddit and seeing all you beautiful folks with your inspirational videos and posts. And with all that said, I humbly bow.

New teacher… what clothes should I wear while teaching?

I have sensory stuff that makes it hard to wear tight clothing. If I wear non-fitted pants instead of leggings and a normal shirt will students hate it? I am going to teach at an ashram that is not very Lululemon-centric (if you know what I mean).
