We've seen an explosion of memes about Child's Pose over the last year and a half. Coincidence? We think not. https://t.co/KR2zYocZQa

Down dog help?
I’ve been doing yoga on and off for five years and practicing regularly (2x per week) for the past year. I’ve noticed a ton of improvement in my practice but I still struggle with down dog. I can’t hold down dog for more than two breaths. It feels like my arms are going to give out so I usually just drop into childs pose. This indicated to me that I might not be putting my weight in the right places? I’ve tried working on my form (clawing the mat, spiraling arms forward, untucking tailbone, etc.) and it doesn’t seem to help. I know my arms have gotten stronger because a year ago I couldn’t consistently flow through chaturanga and now I can. Any tips to troubleshoot down dog?

In traditional Ashtanga, certain poses are reserved until you've mastered preliminary postures. Pranidhi Varshney upends this approach and teaches you how to come into backbends, wherever you are in your practice. https://t.co/maDvBkkLgA
