Do you need a variety of yoga practices to get a well-rounded emotional benefit?
I’m a new yogi. I notice after/during a more fast-paced yoga flow I feel more resilient and strong, and after/during yin or restorative yoga I feel more rested and calm. It seems like I need both because the active yoga doesn’t make me calm and the yin yoga doesn’t give me the resilience. Thoughts?

Yoga and puppy
It's been awhile since I've done any yoga, partly because I've been busy with my 6 month old pup. I'd love to get her into doing a gentle morning yoga routine with me. She's a smart breed and I think it would be something the two of us could enjoy doing together. Anyone have any tips or resources for doing yoga with dogs (or even other furry friends)?

Best mat for super sweaty guy?
Title says it all. I sweat a lot, like a lot a lot. Halfway through a class it’s a literal slip and slide to the point where down dog isn’t even reasonable and I end up in modified dd, puppy I think it’s called. What mats do y’all super sweaters use? Expense isn’t really an issue. TYIA
