Tree pose - Help!
I have practiced yoga for many years and cannot - CANNOT - stand in tree pose with my foot on my upper thigh unless I’m skin on skin. When I do that, it’s no problem at all. I’ve tried many, many different yoga pants and yoga socks with grippers. Any brilliant suggestions? So frustrating!

Outdoor yoga surface recommendations
I've been doing my callisthenics workouts and yoga routines outside since the weather has been great. It's a much different experience and i'd like to set up the space to make it convenient. I've got a 10'x10' deck area that i'd like to cover in some kind of material or mat that would allow for optimal traction with bodyweight exercises. It is also fully exposed to the sun and elements. I'd like something I can install that is weatherproof and can tolerate rain and snow. I have Dollamur mats I use indoors and I love the feel, but I don't want to leave these outdoors. Any suggestions?

help with knees caving in?
So I did search the FAQ and older posts but didn't see anything about how to keep knees from caving in in poses like warrior, crescent lunge, goddess pose etc. (I only saw posts about knee pain, which I am not experiencing) Anything where my bent knee is supposed to track over my ankle, my bent knee pulls in and it's extremely difficult to track it outward and over the ankle without lifting the sole of my foot off the floor (in this way, my weight ends up on the outer edge/bladeof my foot and the instep of my foot lifts off the floor) As a child I sat in the "W" position instead of cross legged. Even to this day I find that position more comfortable even though I know I shouldn't sit that way. I'm working on opening my hips and strengthening my core- I think that's what I should be focusing on? If anyone has any other advice I'd greatly appreciate it.
