Yoga With Adriene vs Alo Moves?

Which would you recommend? I’ve done YWA before and really enjoyed it. I’m definitely a beginner when it comes to yoga (have done it on and off for years but never consistently). I do strength/resistance training 4 days a week and I’m looking for some yoga to fill in the gaps on off days and add some flexibility to my routine!

Have you guys ever done online Yoga?

Hello everyone, I'm new to Yoga, I did a couple of in-person classes. However, I've been considering switching to online sessions mainly because of the price. Is it worth?

I need clarification on two chakras

I've been doing research to figure out the best way to progress through unblocking my chakras but I ran into a mix up with what purpose the pituitary gland and pineal gland serve. I first look up what gland is associated with Ajna and they say pituitary. A quick google search tells me that ajna just so happens to be the "third eye chakra". I then look up what gland is associated with the third eye and I'm told it's the pineal gland. So then I'm left in a puzzling state wondering if pituitary is the crown chakra and pineal third eye chakra or vice versa and if it is backwards that would ruin my trust with the journey altogether since decalcifying my pineal gland and opening my third eye was the start. Any information and sources would be greatly appreciated.

Call Me Childish...Things I Chuckle to myself about in Yoga

1. I still chuckle when someone passes gas.. including myself 2. Cow Girl and Frog are very much Sex Positions and the thought always make me mind wander and laugh 3. Putting my hand on my heart is really just me putting my hand on my boob... i used to struggle and try and figure it out 4. When 'spilling out' in forward fold, I always say to myself my tummy is always spilling out my waist 5. Any sitting posture bending at the waists my chin/face rests in my boobs and I just think this is the day they suffocate me or who needs a block when youve got boobs What things make you chuckle silently to yourself in your practice?

How did you mentally get started?

I’m coming from somewhere where I have no strength or flexibility. I just did my very first “class” which was a beginner video by Adriene on YouTube. I realized I really have zero strength or flexibility (I know flexibility but didn’t realize my strength is THAT bad) and I could hardly hold warrior pose. So my question is for people who started in a similar spot to me - how did you keep up with it and mentally keep yourself from crying? I feel like I’ve ruined my body and won’t be able to keep trying yoga or getting where I want w strength and flexibility when I can hardly do a beginner class at home. I know people will tell me to go in person but I currently can’t afford that. I just want to know where you got the mental strength to continue and also the mental strength to even plan what you were going to try next and create an overall plan to get where you want to. I’m so lost.

question on alignment.

When I do any pose where you extend your arm out and spread your fingers wide, my arm feels really awkward. I'm not sure how to explain it but I'm basically grounded and good with my alignment everywhere else except when I stick my frickin arm either out to the side or up in the air lol. Some poses for example-dancer, revolved triangle, extended side angle, flip dog, peaceful warrior.. So what adjustments can i try to make so that I find myself at more ease in these basic poses? Any feed and advice is appreciated! 🙏
