I didn’t think it was true, but I cried during yin yoga today.
I have tight body and as a result I have back problems. I had herniated disc surgery when I was 18, I am now 30. Since then stretching is super painful and I never feel a relief or comfort while doing yoga. I found Travis Eliot on YouTube. He is the first person that has helped with my comfort level. Today I decided to the hamstrings stretch video, on the butter fly stretch. I felt the need to cry. It was this feeling that came deep from within deep from within. I felt like I wanted to yell, scream, and cry supper loud. I held myself back though because my family was in the other room. I’m definitely doing this video tomorrow when everyone is gone.
